Well, it IS kind of counter-productive to have the copy tool down during beta testing. If you already have a bunch of toons on the test server, not a big deal. But for someone like me, I've never used the test server before and I'd like to beta test stuff but can't do it without making a brand new toon. I'd like to test out the enhancement boosters and unslotters and stuff like that but I'm not going to build up a new toon from scratch to do that. Obviously, they want as many people beta-testing as possible so you'd think they'd also want to ensure full access to the system as it's intended to be accessed, which means being able to copy your toons to the training server.

IIRC, Avatea said that those in charge of the Copy Tool are having a hard time tracking down why, exactly, it's not working. They thought they had it fixed at least twice, and it turns out that they didn't.
So, it's probably going to take longer than expected to find that missing semicolon in the code:
Also, maybe we'll get lucky, and it'll come back online when the Beta Server does in 2 hours...

It's not a big deal either way, but some long-time vets may just assume that everyone has a dozen level 50 toons on the the tester server with a ton of influence. I've played off and on and have 15 months in total on the game but I've never used the test server. So I've got several level 50s but none of them are on the test server. I could try to have them level a new toon up for me on the test server but the toon would have no enhancements or influence so not really worth it for all the stuff I'd like to test with enhancement boosters, unslotters, etc.
Frankly, I'm a little surprised by your post. I realize your mock "threats" of quitting were just jokes, but looking back in the thread and leaving those comments aside, you've had the most posts in this thread complaining about the copy tool not working.

i r wanted to get my toon over here to test some builds...grrr mids isnt updated yet either so its up to the test server yet its not up still
Obviously it's still down, but can we atleast get a confirmation that it's possibly related to Test being locked or perhaps the recovery of the tool being timed with the unlocking of Test?
