I'll do my best to be there
Thank you, Champion.
Good luck all. I think Hami is in for a rude awakening.

'I don't like the look of it at all,' said the King: 'however, it may kiss my hand if it likes.'
'I'd rather not,' the Cat remarked.
'Don't be impertinent,' said the King, 'and don't look at me like that!' He got behind Alice as he spoke.
'A cat may look at a king,' said Alice.
Unfortunately, I'll be at work, but best of luck.
Sure, why not. I'll try and show.
I should be able to be there (hoping I make it home in time) I think Ill bring a kin/dark w/vanguard pets but could bring something else if we are too lopsided Justice
I miss hami raids we used to run them 3-4 times a week lol and have a no frills costume for raiding so we wouldn't lag so much. lol
Yoink.
And a Reverse Yoink, just in time.

Thanks for hosting this, Horus.
Was a good shot.
Also nice to see that Champion can pick up raiding like it was yesterday.
Good Job everyone.
Also Gratz to @Murlon for winning the 1 Billion influence donated by C.A.P.E. for the Killshot on Hami.

So how did it go? Seems like it was a success, but did you guys have to run it the normal way?
Either way, cool idea

Lore pets melted like butter, so we regrouped and did a standard raid.

I guess the high regen helped but not enough to deal with the huge AoE special Hami damage.
But that's weird, I thought people had done nuke runs where they use VG heavies/Shivans and given that those raids succeed, the regen has to be enough to keep them alive.
I'd imagine it's difficult to get the +regen Rebirths effectively staggered so the pets always have high regen, maybe that's why? The debuff nukes also play a factor I guess, but p sure they don't debuff Hami damage.
The Melee Teaming Guide for Melee Mans
Someone did mention at the time, after the pets died, that maybe the buffs should have been staggered.

'I'd rather not,' the Cat remarked.

'A cat may look at a king,' said Alice.
Except that would make sense if the pets had died after the first set of buffs wore off. In theory, they had to be maxed on Regen when they first went in, so if anything, that should have been their best chance at survival.
The initial buff from Destiny is brief. It degrades over time. If staggered, the higher numbers would last longer.

So with all the new incarnate powers coming out I've had an amazingly crazy idea. I'm wondering if we can kill Hamidon just by outright brute force. The plan would be that everyone would have Essences of Earth and would summon incarnate pets and we would rush Hamidon. Destiny buffs will also have a big impact also. If possible I would like as many people as possible to have rebirth to try and survive. Clarion will help also to get around those nasty mezzes. There will be no restriction on what kind of AT to bring but damage overall is preferred as is buff/debuff. If you don't have damage or buff/debuff as an option bring your most incarnated toon. Essentially in an optimal situation we will have 50 people with 100 incarnate pets all diving onto Hami.
There will be random prizes handed out and Apocalypse: Chance for Negative Damage given out to whoever gets the kill shot on Hami.
I would like this to go down on August 25th, 9 PM eastern.
Edit: Oh right, this will take place blue side, so meet up in the Hive.
