Ice/Nrg Blaster, Would it work?

Have been trying to build a toon for PvP. Would probably mainly be used for Zone like in RV, but would like if it would work in 1v1 too. I wasnt too good at building Dom's so i tried with a blaster and number wise "I" think it may get some kills but i have very little experience in PvP. So any Power changes or IO changes welcome. Looking for any kind of help for a PvP toon.

Ok, scrapped the ice. So fire is doing like an average of 50 to 100 pts more. Got 43 pts of KB proc. Also hit health cap (with hoarfrost though, which only has 30 sec downtime). O and i side question, is the 45.5 pts of KB in Power Thrust enough to work? Thinking it would come in handy if someone did get close and would buy me a little time.

Some things I noticed just glancing at it:

Energy Punch is a useless power that you will never use. Get rid of it.

If you are going tough/ice I would go with leadership over concealment, while concealment will offer a little bit more survivability the added offense from Leadership is going to be faaaar more worth it. It will allow you to see people who use stealth + stealth IO, (Which is most people) who you would probably not see without outside buffs with 0 perception. A blasters main job is to **** damage, and without leadership you might have problems doing that. Plus if you Hib the full 30 seconds nophase will kick in and make Phase pointless.

on a blaster you will want capped HP if you don't have that already, and no if it's only in hoarfrost that doesn't count. Also it looks like your damage bonus might be kinda low looking at the sets you have, I would work on that before recharge.

Also for zone a cheap build will work just fine but if you plan on doing 1v1 or any other kind of arena you are going to want a much heftier build, with as many procs as you can jam into your fire attacks.

Also I don't find myself using power thrust that much, although it's funny to use against people with low KB protection.

Just some general stuff to look into.

Ok made some changes based on ^ ideas. Got him crankin out some dmg now. Running the 3 leadership powers now, but it kinda worries me that my net endur is only 1 :/ (just carry blues to make up for it?) And is running snow storm worth it? In area or in 1v1?

#1 you need to take Frozen Armor
#2 Snow Strorm is really not worth it.
#3 you are waaaay over the hp cap which is 1606
#4 again get rid of energy punch, save the power choice and go with conserve power, especially if you think you are going to be hurting on end.
#5 get rid of total focus, you are a blaster not a melee'r, all TF is, is a call to any stalker around to AS you.
#6 get your +hp accolades, these builds are based on having them all.
Below are 2 builds, one that is fire/em/cold/leadership/Fighting and the other is the one I would rather play which is fire/em/conceal/force/leadership.
I did not take hoarfrost, I would just take Rebirth if you want a "heal".
Both are "cheap builds" (no PvP IO's and only some LOTG procs, Numina proc, miracle proc and the 5 fortunata hypnosis purples in the /cold build.)

D: wow, n0ice lol. Gots a question though, how much are those HO's? O and i heard def is pretty much useless in PvP, right? (and figured 11% would do a whole lota nuthin anyway) So, Steadfast 3% def scrapped that cause i didnt need the +hp from its bonus b/c im still at hp cap with the accolades. (This is on the second build) But, i likes it (from what i see). Thinking it will be a little cheaper, just a little more work to get the Accolades.

Lol, well i dropped Veg (cause i really dont think i will ever use it in PvP), still above 41 KB proc and then put 2 hecatombs for the recov bonus. So, looking at this build im not seeing any other ways to improve it, any tips on PvP'n though would be great lol

I would have kept Veng, because you should team up when you PvP so that you can coordinate damage on a target, get heals/buffs etc. and when one of your team dies, then you can use Veng.

There are plenty of stalkers on both sides of RV that will gladly AS you if you trigger a 3.3 second animation. Half of the stalkers just sit around and wait for a squishy to stand still. Hell, half of the time I get an AS off, I get AS'd right back. Aside from that factor, you will do more damage by simply continuing a ranged attack chain than using total focus.

Put a stealth IO in sprint, you should have sprint toggled on.

I don't see an issue with taking TF... It's still a fun power imo, and fire/em builds aren't very tight, not to mention Blasters are pretty easy to build to begin with. Also, as a fire/em unless you want to waste slots on a hold proc, the Stuns from the EM attacks are the only way to de-toggle people.
