VIP Status?

VIP simply means you're a subscriber, that is, you paid for the month.

When you stop paying, you're playing for free, but you lose access to stuff that you haven't specifically purchased separately.

You can become a VIP at anytime.

There was a bonus, however, you did miss out on. If you had subscribed in July, you would get 400 Paragon Points a month until FREEDOM was released. But once FREEDOM goes Live, you'll get 400 Paragon Points each month after that.

As long as you keep paying for your subscription.

He might have missed out on the 400 points from July, but he can still sub and get the 400 points from August, September, etc.

I thought you had to be subscribed from the beginning of the month through the end to get credit for any month after July - so too late for August?

Edit - I guess in July received a full month credit no matter when you started - from that point on it is based on a full billing cycle.

Hmmm... I didn't even know about that. Guess I won't have to wait two months extra for StJ afterall.

The way I read it was :

Subbed going into July - 400pts
Then on each month's "bill date" (the date you'd be charged if Doug a monthly sub) - 400 Pts.

So you could have a total of 800 for July.

So if the OP want subbed right now, and subbed today, he should get the 400 Pts.

And just incase the other five replies weren't clear.

VIP accounts are just a fancy name for being subscribed to the game.

Basically instead of calling it Free/Premium/Subscribed they spiced it up a bit by calling it Free/Premium/VIP.
