Any readers who would leave because of that are people you don't want around anyway. Stick to your guns!

I blame my nervousness on my parents response when I first told them my main character liked girls: "You're going to lose fans pandering to the q---rs!" -_- I'm not proud of my family sometimes.
Well, you didn't give any hints of Woot liking girls, so I thought it came off more pandering to the fanservice "Oh look two girls kissing...Ooooo" crowd more than anything.

But then I read the one comment on the page, and then thought...ya know, I think it'd be awesome if APM turned out to be a boy in drag too. But then, one of my favorite characters is based off that idea, so /it/ could be because of that.

I've tossed out a few hints; but only really subtle ones. More than anything I think she's come off as an asexual being so far. In love with herself more than anyone. >.> I have plans for revealing APM's interest in Woot, and there is a backstory I want to build on later. In my head Woot's been gay since I started the comic; just like she is in CoH, but I didn't want the comic to be "about" that. I noticed a LOT of webcomics have a tendency to hyperfocus when it comes to that subject matter.

That's exactly what I told them.

I see two possible hints. But they could easily be taken other ways (She wants to be a future Supervillain Babe and the one guy annoyed her on her first day of work).

But I agree, stick to yoru guns! The comic has been enjoyable And I loved Catbot using Pengy to beatup Riot Girl. Loved it!

Close! :3 It's the opposite actually; she wants Woot and her gang to become heroes.

I digitized a Catbot knit hat design today at work:

Was thinking of running a giveaway promotion in December for people that "like" the comic's facebook page. Thoughts?

I meant on the other hints. I think the hero wanting the villain to become a hero is obvious (more so if she wants to date the villain).

About the knit hats: I might be wrong here but wouldn't "Catbot demands belly rubs!" be more iconic? Or perhaps more fitting for a T-shirt.

Great comic strip, Miss Woot. I loved APM's spontaneity when Penny asked her that question.

Don't worry about "pandering" to "queers". Everyone is a bit "queer" in their own way. If they're not, then *that* is queer.

Now, if someone were to accuse you of being a "furry" if I made a guest appearance in your comic, well ... then *that* would be ... unacceptable.

P.S. What are the chances of Pengi spinning off into his own comic series? I would happily be his sidekick *any* time! RAWR!

I'm barely able to keep up with two strips a week! But coming up in the next few months is a big Pengi-heavy story arc. He and Wendy take a road trip.

Sneak peak at Monday's comic:

This!

Here's tomorrow's comic, which is itself a cover for issue 2 of WootLabs!

I'm probably going to be going to the F2P version from VIP this month; saving money for the holidays. So I won't be able to post new comics to the forum. The website will still be updated twice weekly though, every Monday and Thursday.

Thanks all.

I wasn't happy with Wendy, personally. Her head looked too flat to me, but I couldn't figure out how to make it look right. I'm still really bad with different angles and perspectives. >.> I've been having a lot of fun doing the comic, but sometimes it makes me want to beat my head against the wall for not sticking with the art classes in college. Me and shia tend to draw and redraw alot of stuff when we are working on a project , sometimes i'll draw something I think looks awesome then show it to shia and he has the unfortunate task of letting the wind out of my sails by telling me I placed a thumb on the wrong side of the hand or the cute girl I drew looks crosseyed .

my best bit of advice (most for myself ) is sometimes when your hitting a art wall take a step back and do something else for a bit then look it over again usually just clearing my mind works wonders .

ps

the comic is fun and my nieces and nephews whom i watch from time to time like pengi best, catbot is a very close second simply because when you read it aloud to them you are required to use the catbot voice "CATBOT LOVES TO NAP IN SUNBEAMS !"

I know Federico does the same, and i often end up with a new Naughty Neko when he does So i don't mind, maybe drawing nekkid catgirls would help you as well!

This made my day. The new issue I'm working on is going to be very Catbot-centric; half of the story is he and Pengi fighting a supervillain together.

I've been trying to keep things fresh by doing random game sketches, namely my characters from Skyrim and Saints Row. It's fun to kind of mix it up, but still frustrating from time to time. I was thinking about buying Manga Studio and a Wacom Tablet to help with my coloring, but that sort of thing is such a big investment.

Also, Neko, I'm trying! >.> But some parts are hard to draw.

Anyway! New comic:
