You think anybody will ever have 48 Level 50's?

Casually, in about a few months? Nah. See, if you team on a daily basis for a couple of hours a day, there's no reason you can't get to 50 in about a month, month and a half. Sure, there are some people who pay their money, and only play 1 character for 1 mission, log off and log back in with another character.

Myself, I organize my toons in a couple of different ways. Ones that are leveling, ones that can get the Accolades, ones the need to be respec'd and/ or IO'd and ones that need alpha slot, and ones that need the other incarnate slots.
Different toons get play depending on my mood.
If they gave me 48 slots on one server, I guess I'd be a little irritated, 'cause I already spent some money on 5 slots - there was a sale, I think. And I haven't used them yet.

But over the last 15 months, I've gotten 7 toons to 50. Of those, only 4 are
4th tiered in Alpha. I've had another 5 50's that were 50 before those that have gotten most of the incarnate love.

And, I'm quite certain that there are hundreds more who have exceeded what little I've accomplished - but it doesn't matter. For the most part, I've enjoyed myself, and it's kept me out of trouble. I win!

48 level 50's? Surely. 48 level 50's in a few months? That would be soooo much like work that it probably wouldn't be any fun for 99.8% of the player base, and even if someone did accomplish it they'd probably be so burned out that they'd quit playing soon afterwards.

Two accounts here, 71 characters/nameholders and 99% of my playing on Virtue as well. 20 level 50's, nine alpha slots, and only a few characters with t3/t4 judgement/interface/etc. -- so far. For some reason, I'll usually decide by 30th if I'm going to go all the way to 50th with a character; by the time I'm 47th I've usually decided if I'm going to continue playing the character and therefore going to spend the INF on IO's. I'm loathe to delete a level 50 that I don't like for the simple reason that there might be a nerf/change/something in the future that will change the way I feel about playing that character, and I'd hate to have to start all over again.

Left to my own devices, I'll usually only play two or three characters 95% of the time, until or unless "oh, we need a tank/blaster/controller? I can switch." I'm quasi-ashamed of how many thousands of hours I've racked up on my main scrapper, but I REALLY have fun playing that one. And "fun" is the whole reason I'm here in the first place!

Well if you two continued reading when I use the term casual I'm referring to how often I get to log in and play, not what I do while I'm playing.

A better question is, will anyone ever read his thread?

Take a look at the title then the post, then take a look at the answers and notice the number of people who obviously didn't read past the title, in their haste to show how many 50s they had.

I have played a lot of MMOs, and CO is the only game I have played where that is even vaguely true.

Well, he blabbered on and changed the topic 3 times in a very short post. It's hard to address someone who can't stick to a topic.

Been reading it. Just haven't bothered to respond until now, that's all.

I should be thanked for bringing up this discussion anyways because not only should Paragon Studios offer up to 48 Slots, but from what I am reading here, they should seriously consider offering up to 60 character slots now.
