Eureka/W13/Alphas 7/25
That was a nice touch. Especially since The Man was playing a General-type character in Captain America. Stan's always good for a laugh and glad to see him on tv. Felicia Day is just too kewt as well.
Oh, previously there was some confusion/wondering about the on-screen guide/episode numbering for Alphas. It looks like that's an error on the part of the guide makers. They seem to be in correct order, despite last week's saying it was #3 and this week's saying #2. Last week, they were just moving into that office building and Gary noticing the hum. They look much more settled in and continuing with the hum. Doesn't appear that they are pulling a Firefly with the series.
Myka in a see-through shirt....rawr... Wasn't too big on the blondeness, but forgiveable. Always fun to see some of the lesser artifacts in the Warehouse and the bronzers getting some play.
Did anyone else see Summer Glau in the extended coming attractions for Alphas?
Applaud for the Stan Lee cameo. Totally forgot Will Wheaton pops in from time to time on Eureka.
I'm not sure that TigerDirect got their money's worth, portraying one of their techs as a peepware installer and a store manager as a thief on Warehouse 13. Myka's not as sexy as a blond.

I normally don't care for blondes, but I thought Myka was pretty hot as a blonde.

Loved Eureka and Warehouse 13. I said it last week, but it bears repeating. Felicia Day is just so damn cute.
Loved seeing Rene Auberjonois come back. I'm used to seeing him as Odo, but seeing him in that really playful role is great. Spotted a minor case of Did Not Do the Research for the writers regarding how the street numbers in SLC work (mostly a nomenclature thing, especially with tourists/visitors), and now I can feel slightly superior to a group of people I've never met
Goodbye, I guess.

I thought Felicia Day was better this week than last. She didn't drop seamlessly into the Eureka cast like the new guy on Warehouse did but she's getting there. I find myself liking Warehouse more than Eureka pretty consistently and this week was no exception.
Loved Stan Lee, that was excellent. I thought the bonus artifacts in the Warehouse were fun (Nixon's shoes!), Pete had some great lines, and evil Wil Wheaton was good too (I heard there's going to be a love triangle on Eureka).
I thought the preview for next week's Eureka was funny, where Carter is jubilant because someone committed a normal crime like robbing a bank! Alas, it's not a normal bank robbery though...

I think it's more likely that the bank simply goes "missing" than intentionally robbed. Somebody probably painted the lobby with Cavorite or put so dohicky or rock sample into their safe deposit box.

*SPOILER*
Someone actually stole the bank. Somehow. And it's floating. Above a river/lake. Along with Carter's car, which he just happens to get out of with predictable results.
I've seen the preview, why couldn't it have floated away by itself? I can believe "the bank has disappeared" being telephoned into "someone robbed the bank". We'll see next week.
Last week, Felicia's "Holly" was very very "Codex". This week she's a tad calmer and more assertive. Hope that trend continues as to indicate how Holly is getting use to Eureka and all of the regulars.

Odd thought: In a town of geniuses, no one was smart enough to put a *manual* release near the ladder that would likely be the only way to have manual access to said lever? Or to at lest have put a catwalk around the chamber so one did not have to dangle over certain doom?
