Base Salvage: Convert or Sell?

About a year or so ago, I inherited a SG that was packed full of base salvage. I took one of every peice and put it on the market to find anything that had a demand. I there were actually collectors looking for it I listed it for 1 inf just to get the quick sale. the rest that didn't have a demand, I converted to rare salvage.
I encourage that you just list it all on the market if you have no reall need for it. Lots of collectors like the pieces.

I'll take it all. I'm a bit of a collector. Send me an email here with contact (global) and server (of the SG), and we'll see what we can arrange. I'll tentatively offer 1.5M per Rare Salvage equivalent, which is around what you could get for converting and selling Rare Salvage if it is mid or high level, but far more than you would get if it's low level. That corresponds to 75k per piece of Salvage, or 225k per Component. For say 2000 Salvage, that would be 100 Rare Salvage equivalents, or 150M Inf.
Note, I'm doing this as a collector, and not a money maker. If you don't have much that I'd like to keep for my collection, I'm not interested.

ZOMG!!! You could save me a ton of time and help me complete a project that has been months in the making. I am attempting to gain a complete set of Base Salvage on my main toon Screamrr and I am missing only a few more pieces to get her all 2750+/- of them!!

I'm pretty sure I have Spark and/or Static Charge....somewhere. I guess I could sift through my bases and various old toons to find them. Send me a PM to remind me and I'll go digging.
I just did a check for ancestral weapons, and there aren't any. I will now go look for the other specific pieces people have asked me about. My inclination is to sell off a couple individual pieces to people who only need a few to complete their collection (if I have any) and then sell the rest to TopDoc.
You know, what I really need to do is go make a list of what I actually have. Hum. I'll try and get back later on today or tomorrow and post that.

I thought I was the only lunatic going for a full set.....guess not. But I'm probably the only lunatic who is doing it who also has 200M prestige from inf conversions on the same collector toon!
My list of needs is probably similar to other people's here. I'd suggest either dumping them all for 1 inf on market (some things are listed with 40M bids on them for a single piece). Or alternately listing them here and seeing what happens in auction between people. I know I have 2.6B in bids on base salvage tied up on my main just to finish the collection so you know thats quite a lot of inf.
Let me guess nobody else has the fa'lak and ry'lehs at 20 right?

*whew* That was more work than I expected. And because it's so long, there may be errors. I tried to be accurate, but I may have miscounted or made a wrong note. The number after each listing is how many of that piece of salvage I have.
However, if there's something on there you see that you want, I'll try to get it to you. Since this is the market forum, I think the fairest way is to simply throw the list open to bids. I don't know which of this stuff is rare any more and I'd rather see good stuff go to people who've put effort into the community by posting here. Also, I appreciate TopDoc's offer to buy it all, but I'm not going to force him to buy up all the trash just to get some stuff he wants. TopDoc, if you really want the Echips and Orichalcums I'll sell 'em to you, but don't feel obligated.
I'm about to go on a camping trip, from Sunday the 31st to Sunday the 7th. I'll take bids via PMs here during that time and close bidding on the 8th of August. Highest bids get the salvage, and I'll work out with the bidders how best to get the salvage to you. I trust that anyone going to the effort to read and post here has the scratch and honesty to pay what the bid on, so I'll probably just send stuff out by global e-mail unless the winners have a preferred method.

I've inherited a couple of old school SGs that still have a couple thousand chunks of base salvage in them. My original plan was to just convert it all into rare invention salvage and hope the RNG was good to me.
After burning through several hundred pieces and getting a noticeable number of clunkers, it occurred to me that I should ask around and see if anyone actually wants this stuff. Is there any particular brand of base salvage that it is better to sell than to convert? Or for that matter, is there any particular piece that someone reading this wants?
I've just gotten tired of the old stuff laying around and I'd like to efficiently get rid of it.
