It would take a true hero to have the heart to save those citizens! Though we at least have the plus-sized citizen model shapes to account for some of these.

This would definitely be a civilian in cos-play as Desdemona.

Still, I would like to see the civilians in a variety of clothing, accessories, hair styles, etc. Again, it would be nice if they changed into evening wear when the sun went down ;-)

I'm sooo glad I read this thread it made me laugh out loud.
If you want to revamp civilians how bout revamping their AI, more importantly the collision code. A lvl 50 tank should not be pushed around but a lowly citizen flailing their arms and running in circles like a chicken with it's head cut off. If you want to make the Citizens look better why not use the citizen models from Preatoria. They look better(probably from drinking enriche). On that note I'm not sure how they drink it because the emote has the cap securely on the bottle.

While I could do without the cross dressers, seeing folks out in evening wear would be cool. A general civilian wardrobe expansion/upgrade would be welcomed by me.
I was okay with this idea... until I saw the Wal-Mart thingy. It turned a good idea into a mostly un-funny joke thread.
That's right! Rather than revamp another zone or enemy group - why not revamp the pedestrians that wander our streets, get abducted by CoT, get purse-snatched, and generally create that feeling of immersion in game?

They've been wearing the same t-shirts, jeans, pants, skirts, and hairstyles since the game launched! Give them some love! I mean, why don't we ever see civilians in tank tops or evening wear (which would be nice to see if civilians in evening wear appeared after sunset
I would love, unlikely to happen though, if the art team took a look at http://www.peopleofwalmart.com to create some unique looking pedestrians to wander the streets.
