Not sure if thats because she is under lvl 10?
Try sending it to your global name. I haven't tried sending an email from Toon A to Toon B, but I know that you can email your own global name and access it from any toon on any server: while logged on to Toon A (at or above lvl 10), drag and drop whatever you're sending or type in the amount of inf you want to send, then send the email to your global id (@global name), type in some sort of message in the body of the email (can't send empty emails), and then you switch to Toon B (any lvl), and voila! your email, with attachment, is there. Toon B, however, will not be able to send emails, even via your global handle, until s/he hits lvl 10.

If you have a space (or multiple spaces) in your global name, try sending it to either @Global_Name (note underscore) or @GlobalName (note lack of space) - test to see if there is a @GlobalName first before sending something valuable to it (you can test by attempting to /globalfriend the name, or sending a test email with like 1 inf attached)

The global mail system is a little weird.

In general, do these techniques (plus the backspace) not with Global addresses? I use /r all the time, but when I tried backspace and /r last night with a Global, it didn't work.

When I send a reciepe to myself via @'myhandle' the character who sends it, is immediately taking it back into their folder.
When you say "folder" do you mean their e-mail tab, or their recipe inventory?

The recipe should be draggable from your recipe inventory into the little empty square in the upper right of the e-mail.

(Note that if it starts out stored in the auction house, you'll have claim it into your personal inventory before being able to e-mail it).

After you send one e-mail it won't let you send another for 15 seconds (an anti-spam measure). Once you do send it to your own global (be sure to include the @ sign!), it immediately appears in your e-mail tab, where you can instantly claim it...which of course puts it back into your recipe inventory on the same character, so you probably want to change to the receiving character first.

If that's not working for you as described here, please post more detail and we'll figure it out.

I use /r all the time. Global names and character.

Yeah still having issues and tried everything here.

My handle is one word and numbers, so no space issues, I've sent a standard mail with no attachments, which the lower alt can see.

However as soon as a put in an attachment and press send, the character sending it who is lvl 12, immediately takes the item as it arrives and puts it back into the corrosponding place in their own hud. Either the reciepe bit or the Salvage bit depending on the item.

I've tried logging over, but if you don't press send, nothing is in the email part when the lower logs on, and even with one second on the logout counter, if I press send the item immediately goes back to its slot when pressed.

So aye, a little odd.

The email is supposed to appear immediately on the email of the toon that sent it. It appears for every single toon you have until one of them hits the claim button. That is supposed to happen, if I am understanding correctly.

Just to be sure, are you including the "@" symbol before your Global ID in the address field of the e-mail?

You're @Bo'Tanika? Hmmm. All this time and I never figured that out.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Yep, sending email to @myusername, as soon as I send she takes it. It's like there is some kind of auto-loot the mail switched on, but I can't see how to turn it off.

So yeah, I'm not getting a chance to claim, or log over for the alt, as she takes it straight away when I send it.

I lierally press send, a message on my chat log comes up saying, She has claimed the item as she is eligable or something like that, and it is back in the item slot again. It is sent as well, as the Salvage folder or reciepe folder will ding full again after I press send.

Figured out the problem, I was totally miss understanding what folks meant when they said the global name. It would appear the last time I played back in 2008 I had changed my Globalname to one of my characters names.

So although sending it to my account name, also meant it came to me, the character logged in was taking in immediately. Now I am using the Global name, it sits in my email, and my lower alts can take the items as normal.

I feeling it was likely to be something I was doing wrong, thanks for trying to help to all those in here. Cheers.
