As far as I understand, Titan-O are of limited value. The merits are the better choice.

Since they are of limited level (40-43), Crystal Titan Origin Enhancements carry little perceived value. Shortspark is correct, you're much better off taking the Reward Merits.
(By the way, you do realize that the Eden Trial has nothing to do with the Task Force Commander accolade, right? If you do, I apologize, but I wanted to point it out, since your post suggests that you may be doing Eden as part of that effort.)

Offhand, I can only think of a couple of reasons to take the 'Titan O'.
1) You have a character with XP turned off who is going to stay in that level range forever (for whatever reason - merit random rolls, having access to your favorite Safeguard mission, etc).
2) Novelty value. Particularly if you already have thousands of merits.

In fact, if the character you are running is not of the right level range, the TitanO is not even a selectable reward.
Regardless, the Eden trial gives about 2 merits and a half, so I wouldn't worry about it either way.

To be honest I have always gotten around to the Eden trial long after passing its normal range and never even got offered a Titan-O. take the merits those you can use to buy anything you like.
And to make sure you are aware the requirements for TF commander are:
Posi 1 and Posi 2 TF
Synapse TF
Sister Psyche TF
Citadel TF
Manticore TF
and Numina TF
Nothing else is required so if you have done Moonfire's TF and Hess's TF in Striga or anything else besides those 7 .. no harm but they do not apply. Figured I'd add that since Numina is basically the final one if you have been doing them as you reach their respective levels so once you completed it you should have gotten the accolade. Enjoy

Moonfire's like the unofficial 7th tf tho since it will get you 90% of the way to the vamps and wolves you need for the atlas medallion without having to wait around in striga for dark.

Ahh very true thanks for the edit Roderick. Now let's clarify for anyone considering the OLD Posi TF..
Takes forever due to running you all over Paragon city as opposed to the 2 new shorter ones which take place mainly in Steel (Posi 1) and Faultline (Posi 2) [note I said MAINLY there are a few missions elsewhere]. You will spend more time zoning to Atlas Park, Perez Park, and even Skyway than being anywhere near Steel where Posi in located. Figured on a couple of hours easily since you have at least 4 defeat alls to deal with (including the final two missions) and a bunch of "Talk to: missions that keep you running from zone to zone.. Oh and a Patrol in Perez Park.
Has no AV at the end just a lot of bosses and a couple EBs to deal with.. which was an advantage years ago before they changed mob spawns since the thing could be run by a solo player after starting.
Does award a lot more more merits at 66 as opposed to Posi 1/2 which combined only awards 26 [11 for Posi 1 and 15 for Posi 2]. If you decide yo do it just be prepared to spend more time doing FEDEX style missions and running from zone to zone than actually fighting bad guys. Which was one of the reasons it wasn't very popular compared to the others and the main reason it was revamped.

Posi via flashback is 40 merits (they lowered it when they put it in ouro). It can be run on -1 and you can solo it which is sweet! I can run this in about 55 minutes by myself. It has taken me longer than that to do both posi 1 and posi 2 (unless on a more optimized team) but ymmv. There are also only 3 fedexes in ouro posi and (usually) you get lucky and they grouped together (run to Azuria, hit kr, run to Azuria).

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have been working on the Task Force Commander Accolade, and I have come upon an interesting question. After completing the Numina Task Force, I will be running the Eden Trial. According to the Paragon wiki, this Trial offers either seven Reward Merits or a Titan Origin enhancement. My question is this: ought I take the Merits or the enhancement? I know that Hamidon Origin enhancements can fetch a hefty price on the market; but, does anyone buy Titan Origin enhancements? Seven Merits aren't much of a prize, and I am trying to outfit a character. What say the market gurus?
