I think they opened the slopes on Freedom after the event back on the 27th. Perhaps they forgot to seal the dimensional rift afterwards.

I've used it on Freedom. I think I remember it being announced in game during the anniversary event, but I thought it would've been turned off (was in there last night). I was also probably the reason the prices were driven up, the canes were selling for 250k but capped out and the next low offers were around 2mil based on my creeping up price check.
On the other hand, I don't think Father time is there and giving missions, or I didn't remember where to find him when I looked yesterday...
