I call shenanigans! Shouldn't this be filming in Gotham City? Oh wait, I'll bet The Joker or The Penguin or somebody like that threatened the production, so they had to move it. Curse those villains! Why must the be so entertainingly evil?

They filmed in Chicago before, didn't they? I wonder why the change.

I'm pretty sure it's more of an additional location sorta thing, than changing filming from Chicago to Pittsburgh.

Good to see the 'Burgh getting some love from Hollywood again. I know they had priced themselves out if the market to the point where films set in Pittsburgh weren't't even being filmed there (like Land of the Dead).

Heh. A photographer for the casting agency who took my pic said I was her "favorite evil villain look" of the day. :3

Didn't realize filming was actually from July 28th to Aug 21st though. Rumor is that it'll mainly be involving Heinz Field. They also need a -lot- of people, so there's still plenty of opportunity to get in on it.

But yeah... so begins the waiting game...

Told a buddy about it and the road trip was on, now just have to work a few details out at my regular job. I think I'll begin with; "My therapist said I should take some time off..."

Was fun, also found a new favorite road on the east coast. 160 out of PA to MD, I love you, you curvy hilly sparesly driven peace of tarmac heaven!

The auditions were right across the street from my job yesterday. Had to park in a parking garage as all the meter spots (free on Sundays) were taken. ;(

That may also be because one of the scenes in the last movie was in Hong Kong

The one that went down six levels? Coming from an area that is pretty much some soggy earth floating on water, that was an interesting experience. I had to park on level 4 and for about two levels, me and my buddy talked about crappy endings in the underground parking garage due to flooding or a direct hit with a bunker buster.

The tower sequence. Ya, I'd forgotten that. Wasn't the ferry boat segment filmed in Hong Kong harbor though? Or was that Lake Michigan? I wasn't really watching to see if it was an inland lake or not.
