Supernatural has always had quality writing, unlike a certain show allegedly about a DC Comics character that used to precede it. Yeah, they have gas in the tank and it's friggin' premium.
Aaaahahahaha. Castiel is awesome. 
Wonder if the gang is going to have to resort to summoning the Old Ones to handle the new guy in charge?

I am so disappointed in Castiel how come whenever Sam and Dean get someone other then themselves and Bobby to hang out with that person gets killed, cuz you know that is what is gonna happen to Castiel don't you?
Cancel the kitchen scraps for widows and lepers, no more merciful beheadings and call off christmas!

Right now he's on an Angel drug trip.
I wonder if the plan will end up being letting Cass take in even more souls so he does go nuclear and take out heaven and possibly hell. Probably not, since they try to save their friends as much as possible.
One thing, though, is that if Cass is supposedly the new god, he's gotta know that Sam and Dean aren't going along with it, so he might have a lot of juice, but still fall short of omnipotence.
There's also the chance that the original god comes back, or maybe they'll get in touch with Kali.

Although I thought the series should have ended last year, this double-episode ending proved beyond a doubt that they still have plenty of gas in the tank.
