Thats weird. I was in my thugs mm a few days ago and I seem to recall their defense was enhanced normally. Did you resummon your guys? You probably did, but its worth asking

Yeah resummoned the enforcer just to make sure, this was around 4pm Est yesterday.
I didn't try reloging or zoning as I was heading off to work. *shrug* Hoping it was just a glitch.

Then I realize that my Thugs/Storm is so old that I didn't do anything intelligent with him, and actually he doesn't slot defense in his enforcer. He current hands out 8.47% defense, the default is 7.5% isn't it? Probably some weird set bonus from something.
Holy crap, he's got a Numina's Convalescence proc. I wonder when he got that?
Just logged in and my Enforcers look OK. They're each providing 14.12% DEF through Manuevers so their DEF enhancers are working.

Are you sure you don't have Defense DeBuff enhancements slotted in Enforcers?
If you have Def. Debuff slotted, Enforcers will show enhanced values for defense in the detailed info screen (where you slot enhancements) but the pets don't actually get the buff. Summon your enforcers and check their Combat Attributes (right-click pet, Attributes at bottom of popmenu) That should give you the real values.
Ok today did some experimenting on this issue.
Slotted a Def enchacment again (doubled checked it was Def and not Debuff).
No Effect
Dismissed Enforcer, and resummoned
No Effect
Logged out, and came back into game
Had Effect
.... werid *shrug* At least its working now. Just gfor giggles I tossed in a second Def Enchacment same issue (didn't work, even after resummon). So I then instead of logging zoned over to sharkhead. Enchancments took effect.
So its something about the zone you put the Def in not registering them on the pet until you log or zone for the first time with them equipt.
Bizare... but at least thier working now.

edit: It's a heck of a revelation about something pertinent for many masterminds if just for a short duration.

Should have known it was too good to be true..
So I finaly dropped some DEF enchancments into my Enforcer to buff up his Manuvers. Low and behold... nothing. Any veteran Thug MMs out thier confirm if thats normal? Seems kinda silly he takes DEF enchancments but doesn't get anything out of it. So I'm guessing (hoping) its a bug.
