Say, what's magical in Praetoria?

Yep! I also managed to get a question answered about the Carnival of Light by Protean, which is also apparently something that will be addressed in Issue 21 as well.

It's sounding like this new zone is Praetorian - and if it involves magic and the Carnival of Light, it'll probably be some new front being opened up in the war against Tyrant and the loyalists.

From the missions and the way a certain Preator Duncan Acts i was thinking the magic was being taken and literally kept by her among other people.

I assume she still gets her powers from the same kind of belt Ms. Liberty has, but given the fact of how her minions all act...and how she seams to act...

I am thinking she probably is alot like Mother Mayhem, in that she captures would be Magical people and keeps them as her playthings or uses them as Pseudo Magical Batterys for her powers.

As for what is magical in preatoria...not much...but then again....sufficiently advanced technology tends to seam magical.....and the power sources on some of the warmechs and clockwork and the way they could easily put the consciousness of seers into the clockwork...make me wonder if Magical methods of some sort where not actualy being harnessed in their creation.

The big problem is though....even if there where misisons with things that drop magical items...you cant really replay them...because no preatoria missions are available for flashback.(though i swear i read that the developers said these would be available)

That's ProtEan. And, yes, hearing about this makes me happy. I'd like to see how they make the transition between magic almost not existing and this, especially when it comes to retrofitting magic in the overworld and existing content ranged. The reason I say this is it might seem a bit odd if you went through 20 levels of no magic and then suddenly "Oh, and there are these magic guys we... Didn't think to mention until six movies in."

Don't think I'm not happy to hear the news, though. I am. Seeing more about the magical side of Praetoria and finally seeing this Carnival of Light (and why Anti-Matter's clockwork would confuse them with the Primal Carnival of Light) as well as just "magical stuff" would be a boon. There's really nothing much I can say about it without more information, but I'm glad to see they aren't set on just not showing magic in Praetoria.

So, good deal!
