i20 Stuff, Kind of Confused

Hey guys! I haven't played in a while and just realized i20 came out so I was thinking sweet time to get some new incarnate stuff but I'm a bit confused.
The Alpha Slot on the Going Rogue website has a list of components and how to get them. But they show no components and how to obtain them for the new Incarnate Slots. So how do you get the components for the new slots? Is there a page showing how/were to get them?

While playing the two new trials, you can get Incarnate Thread drops. You use these to craft your components.

Also, a successful trial will give you a reward table where you will be able to get a componant of your choice. The table itself will randomize to rare, uncommon, or common componants.

Finally, completing sections of the trials will get you Astral Merits, which you can break down into threads. Likewise, successful completion of the trials will reward an Emperyan Merit, which can also be broken down.

Hope this helps.

Oh okay, thanks man.

This is my first post so please forgive me if it is not in the correct thread.
I have been in waiting mode for three days now and as of yet have not been invited to the new trials. I see it says three to five minutes in waiting period but I have stood around for 40 mins and still not gotten invited. What am I doing wrong?

Where is the contact to start a trial?

I have rescued Polly over 100 times...you'd think she would figure it out!

The problem with the LFG system at the moment is that most people are getting into full leagues before joining the queue, so that people "on their own" so to speak aren't getting into the instances.

I can't speak for the US servers, but certainly in the EU the place to go for getting involved in the trials is Pocket D. There isn't a contact as such, the league leader just joins the LFG queue with enough people to start the trial.

And yes, the "ETA" timer on the LFG tab does appear to be something of a random number generator at the moment

Nope, not random, from what I see. It's always the same numbers no matter what. I don't know if the people putting these together can actually see the LFG "queue" (or anyone else can, for that matter,) but it would be a LOT more useful if they could.

Just as an experiment, I put myself in queue and just waited the other night - standing back around where the tailor is in the RWZ. There were teams forming (and waiting) for people to do trials, and there I was, sitting in LFG. Ideally, the people creating this would be able to open the "LFG Queue" window and send an invite from the people in queue, and the people waiting would be able to see what's forming and being offered.

The LFG interface is pretty nonfunctional, IMHO. I might as well put "Looking for Lambda or BAF" as my SG description for all the good that seems to do. A lot of the interface changes don't seem really well thought out or implemented. (And as for the raids themselves, if it weren't for the grind to unlock this stuff, I don't think I'd do them more than once or twice. They're really not that interesting.)

If you've only played an AT once (one set combo) and "hate" it - don't give up. Roll a different combo. It may just be those sets not clicking for you.

LFG works but unless there are a huge number of people using it then it is only likely to generate close to minimum size leagues.

I joined one via it on Tuesday and we almost completed Lambda with just a team of 8 (Marauder down to 1% health) - so it is clearly possible at minimum size on a PUG without anything over alphas slotted

Mind of Gaia lvl 50 Defiant's first Mind/Storm 'troller.
Deadly Doc 50 Dark/Dark Corr
and lots more on Pinnacle,Union and Defiant

I am of the opinion that really, to get the gist of it all, you kind of need to just play with it a bit. Look at the power you want, for me it was judgemnt first...and then click about and see what you need to unlock it. Then go for obtaining those components.

once you run one BAF and see the drops you get it makes a little more sense. once you click around and see what breaks down into what and waht upgrades into what it becomes infinitly more clear.

I've run a couple Trials without seriously worrying about the actual Incarnate tiers/slots but I've noticed that I'm getting experience in "Interface" while everyone else is talking about having slotted Judgment or Lore or whatever.

Do I have to achieve Interface first and then it goes to Judgment or was I able to set where the xp went or what?

I really need to find a complete overview for this. I'm sure it was available somewhere but I didn't realize how complicated this was versus the old Alpha slot stuff.

The waiting times are essentially pure fiction. The problem (as someone else mentioned) is that most people are joining in pre-formed. If a league of 24 people joins as a group they get a waiting time of 0 minutes which brings down the average wait time substantially.

Unfortunately the devs didn't provide enough incentive to use the queue so consequently very few people do. Your best bet is to do what everyone else is doing and join a pre-formed league. Most leagues are formed in co-op zones (particularly Pocket D and the RWZ) so that's your best bet.

Lambda gives experience towards Interface, and after you unlock Interface it gives XP towards Destiny. To get Judgement or Lore XP you have to run BAF, or buy XP using threads and influence under the Convert tab.

Doing the BAF gives you experience towards Judgment. Once you have Judgment unlocked it goes towards Lore.

Doing the Lambda gives you experience towards Interface and once that's unlocked towards Destiny.

Thanks, both of you. That's information I can use!

As you may have guessed, I've only done Lambda so far.

Perversely, you have a disincentive to use the queue right now as you wind up in a Lambda trial of eight people of varying experience rather than sixteen people led by someone who had the gumption to say "I'm going to run a Trial, come join me"

This may matter less in the future as more people have experience and additional powers but it sure doesn't help right now.

I had really high hopes for the queues. I mean, being able to run around any zone doing "something" whilst waiting in the queue for a trial to form seems like an awesome idea. But, the fact that the queue starts up a trial with the minimum amount required does not bode well right now. Maybe when a majority of the folks running it have their new slots unlocked and filled a minimum team would be fine, but right now it does not encourage me to use it. I wish the queue had two options for each trial: one for the minimum required and one for the maximum required.
