I will take part of this one. I will be using Lady: Shield/Warmace/Energy Mastery Tier 4 Alpha Cardiac Slotted. This will be my first issue 20 trial and I'm ready for this new challenge.

Ran 13 BAF's yesteday, all but 1 (due to massvie DC's) were successful, ran 3 this morning, successful. Got a good, solid strategy down.

Looks to be the keeping them seperate and killing them will be the hardest part. Just for a completion..thats easy mode it seems.

BTW I have unlocked and gotten T-3's in everything (except Alpha..thats a T-4 :P ), it really is easier with the level shifts.

Lambda I have only run a couple times..both successes...badge requirements dont seem to difficult, only the one where we cant use pacification grenades seems to be hard.

Thats great Kotchie. I ran Lambda once last night for a success.

It was a blast. I ran a bunch with you yesterday on Ra Lipop. Looking forward to another marathon soon.

I was pretty discouraged day one of release. About 5 failed BAFs and 3 failed Lambdas. At the end of the night, I did squeeze out one Lambda win.

Yesterday? 3 Successful Lambdas and 2 Successful BAFs. People are already seeing what works and what doesn't.

If you're having a hard time finding a quality team, shoot me a tell on Spine.shank if you see me on. The team I've been running with (Was the same all night last night, they run a LOT), has a stellar success rate.
I hate raiding with a passion. I also have (another) dodgy harddrive. By the time I get that worked out, the first runners will likely have moved on from these two raids.
I hate raiding, btw. Refuge of the uncreative (both Dev and player), with the exception of the Mothership raid (which really isn't a Raid in any sense other than a mess of folks having kitbash fun).

Looks like the drop rate is decent though (from what I read, been dealing with hardware issues Tues/Weds nights, the very few hours I was home), if you can find twenty people to run it ad nauseam... if you can stand raiding.

I farkin' hate raiding, too.

Been in MMOs for about ten years at this point (10.166, with the six repeating), and I really, really detest raiding/raider mentality. I liked CoX because it was different in this regard.

This one element might be the writing on the wall, though, given that the more I read, the more it seems this is the way these current devs want to go.

Hope I can make it on Friday night thats my usual team up night with some other friends. We are all badge oriented, but a few don't play as much so I know they will need some time to run them and unlock the tiers. If there is room though and I hear you broadcast and you have enough slots we will help out.

Any other time I will help out. I have ran a few successful ones so far and have 2 of the master badges without even trying.

Where are you going to be forming up, pocket D?

Freedom Server - Main = Lil Bug & way too many alts to list

Oh if there's still room, add me to the list for Friday. I'd be on my badge toon.

Credit where credit's due, the devs had to strike an increasingly rare "sweet" spot between people getting the unlocks 2 days after the issue went live and complaing about the lack of content, and the people who are casual players. I think they got it right on the nose.

It's more than possible to unlock all T4s without running either trial, and you can do it at your own pace and with minimal influence. Since Shards drop at all levels now, and with a 10:10 shard-to-thread ratio every 20 hours, you never need to raid, or farm. Sure, it'll take longer than most people, but everyone needs to realize it's not a race to unlock these things.

After about 7 days, those few guys that had level 53 the day I20 launched? You won't be able to tell them apart from the people who did it with SIGNIFCANTLY less shards/threads/influence.

But hey, those 7 days spent standing in Atlas showing off that nice +3? I'm sure that was worth a 5:10 shard-to-thread ratio, 2 billion influence and grinding for about 800 shards before launch :P

Dispari seems to have some good advice that is well received that might make good reposting here:

Did you miss the two where you can't use any acid either? The grenades just make Marauder hit softer (-dam) and get hit more often (-def). They truely aren't necessary to win, they just make the aggro holder not die as often. The acid on the other hand....I don't know how it's even possible to win without using.

BTW, where are we meeting up tonight? Pocket D? RWZ? Midnighter Club/Cimerora?

And for those unfamiliar with the Mo badge requirements:

Behavioral Adjustment Facility trial
Not On My Watch badge: Allow no Mindwashed Prisoners to escape.
Alarm Raiser badge: Never disable a Guard Tower using the controls at its base.
Gotta Keep 'Em Separated badge: Defeat Siege & Nightstar without moving them from their initial locations.
Strong and Pretty badge: Defeat Siege & Nightstar while none of their reinforcements are alive.

Lambda Sector trial
Synchronized badge: Destroy a Weapons Cache and an Incubation Pod within 2 seconds of each other.
Well-Stocked badge: Complete the trial having acquired 10 Pacification Grenades and 10 Molecular Acids but using none of them.
Antacid badge: Complete the trial having acquired 10 Molecular Acids but using none of them.
Lambda Looter badge: Complete the trial having acquired 10 Pacification Grenades and using none of them.

Yeah that is good advice. Everyone one may know this regarding the XP but it's your team that gets the XP not your League.

Perfect! editing my post for good. I saw the tittle and it is tonight at 9 PM EST.

Will need to plan on starting a little later tonight, since they just posted ANOTHER downtime today. On the upside, I've just barely managed to squeeze a 1/3/1/3 incarnate build out today. Thank you very much, Astral Merits. ^_^

Downtime's already done, game's up and running now.

So, we're meeting where? And using which global chat? Did I miss the start?

Hang tight, I think Kotch is running late. We didn't start without ya :P Me and a few others I see on the list are hanging in PD.

Kotchie didn't log on until about 9:45 and we didn't get started on the actual Lambda run until about 10:15 due to team forming, mapserving and instruction. As for the run itself, we managed to finish but apparently Antacid is bugged. We got all 10 grenades and acids from the sabotage phase and didn't use any acid, but the badge didn't award.

Synchronized badge: chat/server lag caused teams to destroy them >2 seconds apart. Failed.

Well-Stocked badge: met Antacid requirement, but did not also meet Lambda Looter requirement. Failed.

Antacid badge: we got all 10 acids and used none, but the badge didn't award. Several members of the team petitioned it and if they're like me, they're waiting for a senior rep to respond. Bugged.

Lambda Looter badge: we could only get Marauder down to about 61% Health after 13 minutes, so we just decided to start using grenades so we could at least finish the trial. Failed.

Note: Lambda Looter is also being reported as bugged by other teams that manage to not use any grenades.

Still, my Interface slot unlocked during the run and we managed to take down the big dog, so it wasn't a waste of time.

I'm sorry to hear about your problems, friday night. How many did you have on the team? Reschedule this for next weekend. On saturday, I was able to beat Marauder without grenades with Lambda PUG of 8. It was weird but I'm happy. Also, I opened all 4 slots should I'll be ready for the next group meeting. I just have to craft now.

EDIT: At 11:30 PM last night I did a BAF PUG with 24 and it was amazing. I got some cool badges(we killed all escapees) before I was disconnected.

Are you going to try to run this again this weekend? All 4 of slots are open and filled now

BAF Master is fairly straightforward... indeed, it is easier than a moApex or moTin. The big trick to a moBAF is all about either running it twice to get the Mo OR really, really good control on the players during the prisoner outbreak stage.

IE, our runners who do the Mr E Mo events could do them right now with just a signup and go (they/we are skilled/listen well enough that getting it should be just one or two tries).

Lambda, however, will probably require everyone to be +2 or +3 (all sixteen) to carry successfully in time.
