You know my one major problem with IQ tests? There's a section wherein you take multiple meanings for words and bridge them with a third, vaguely related word. Whilst I know those multiple words, I cannot seem to shift an already set definition perception from the one I mentally set the instant I read a term/phrase.
Math, symbolic, etc. I fly through in the upper 140's/lower 150's. However, my total score is usually reduced down to the lower 140's due to my complete incapability to make those verbal/text bridges if I don't see it in the instant I read 'em and gauge independent definitions (indeed, because of this, I almost always test one or two points below my coveted score).
My apologies all around. I had not seen this particular alternate meaning due to an unfortunate name/abbreviation placement.

Haha im not butting heads with anyone. I just laughed at the grouping of M R E M O put together. I know Mr E-man, we use to be in the same sg together I dont have a problem with anyone that sets up TF runs, he's a pretty cool guy and sometimes he lets me hang out with him cuz we are usually on at the same time. Even though he did register after me, cuz you know im a jerk like that, or maybe you dont know hehe.

Turg,
If your going to do this, don't do this Sunday night or Friday night. Those are the heavy usage times. This will reduce our chances for disconnects, etc. It has to be Saturday.
...whut the hell makes you people think I'm organizing one? Please, I'm a leech, ask Kotchie.

Sheesh, don't make me organize this, I suck at that.
Okay, Monday evenings, Wednesday evenings, Thursday evenings, Saturday nights, and Sunday evenings are right out insofar as we already have regularly scheduled runs by various people on those nights.
The pocket D purt (pick-up raid trial) teams are already spinning down a bit... so, time to start thinking about scheduling raid teams.
Me, I'm no good at organizing events in CoX (big thanks Luna, Mr E, Captain Power, Megpie, and Kotchie), but I figure we need to talk about when a good trial raid time would be good for all of us.
Tuesday evening? Earlier Saturday (and I mean a good two an a half hours prior to E's runs)? Friday's lag purgatory, but it is open as well.
Note: in order to emerit gain, and the likelyhood that each trial run will be an hour or less, the two hour time frame set for this will eventually be for both trials (excepting possibly moBaf trial run nights... easy to get moBaf if you do it in two runs instead of one).
Thoughts/opinions? This is either for Mo attempts or just running the alts ad nauseam.

I *think* Sunday nights are free in that list Myr. CP has cancelled his event, and I'm not sure of any others that are running that night.
I'm not organizing this beast, cause 1. I've never played either trial, and 2. I'm exhausted as can be with 2 full time jobs, and the 1 event I do setup a week. I'd rather not go completely off the deep end yet!
But from my understanding, times that might be open are: Sunday (afternoon or evening), Tuesday evening, Wed Evening EARLY (say 7 or 8pm Eastern), Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, and EARLY evening (again say 7 or 8pm Eastern).
I'm good for any of those but Fridays. I would love to get started on this. I'm a little intimidated at this point where everyone has played it a zillion times and are experts at it.

I'll organized this...just give me a minute. let see what events are going so I don't conflict. Let's do the MoLambda First

I'd be in for this, but why don't you at least wait until the badges are fixed? lol

I'm all for having a semi-regular raid schedule once a week. As far as I'm concerned, let it be a chance for people to work on alts. The MO-runs can be scheduled at specific days and times.

... I won't be around on Sunday evenings in July (driving day after the deacon bit in the morning), though... so, it is probably a good thing ResidentX is working on organizing them.
Otherwise, Tuesday evening or early Saturday evening/late afternoon would be my picks.
I might try a Friday thing at some point; not like I can find a social life around here (RL location) ;-)

You can certainly host anything you want, and I might still join anyway. I was just curious why somebody would purposely host it when there's a known issue that the badges are not being awarded. For all we know, the requirements are wrong to begin with. There is a whole thread about it in the Player Questions forum. Personally, I've done "Mo"-Lambda three times with reliable people and we didn't get anything, despite doing what we think the requirements are.

It's like having Empath before the nerfs. "Yes, I did it back when it was hard."
(...of course, I DID AFK farm that... but that doesn't deflect me from my point!)
I feel like, at the very least, trying to do it as an all-in-one Master run is a great way to get people up to speed on the requirements and general layout. If you can win with the restrictions, you can utterly DESTROY it when you remove them.
Luna: I wouldn't worry about being behind the curve for running this - almost everyone's in the same boat. The important thing is to go in with an open mind and not being afraid to fail.

How about early saturday night/Lambda(7PM) or if your feeling dangerous Sunday at 8:30PM(Lambda)? If it's not fixed, then don't show and I'll fill the extra spots with PUGs. BAF is too large to run right now. I'm reading the boards and the bugs with that Trial are obnoxious even with the patch.

1. It's bugged to where you HAVE to get the following three badges at the same time in order for ALL of them to qualify:
- Well-Stocked (acquire 10 grenades AND 10 acids but don't use them)
- Antacid (acquire 10 acids but don't use them)
- Lambda Looter (acquire 10 grenades but don't use them)
The fourth badge requirement awards independently and is not bugged:
- Synchronized (destroy a weapons cache and Incubation Pod within 2 seconds of each other)
2. (RUMOR) It's possible that the badge check daemon goes in to "count" how many temp powers people in the league have before it permits the badge reward. This means that if you get the power, don't delete it from your power list (but you CAN remove it from your power tray).
3. (RUMOR) This also means that, if someone has a grenade/acid in their inventory, and they happen to disconnect during the final few seconds, the badge system may not reward the players because it was unable to "count" the temp power in their inventory.
4. (RUMOR) This ALSO means that, since you can get the above-ground weapons drops, counting those might also interfere with the badge count for Master. Best advice here is to don't even bother to make the attempt on those caches - don't destroy the containers, and ignore them and their mobs completely.
Having said all of this, all the Master team needs to do is the following:
- Don't die. Death means downtime, and maintaining a steady DPS on Marauder is vital.
- Marauder appears to be vulnerable to Psionic damage. Seer pets are like MM pets: Target them on Marauder each time to help your DPS. The more Psi damage you have on your team, the easier this will technically be.
- Once everyone has the temp powers, ignore 'em, but have them parked and ready to throw "just in case" (I'll explain afterwards.)
- Bum-rush Marauder. The killzone the players will unleash on him will vaporize any enemy mob that enters it. He also hops away regularly, taking you away from any clustered mobs. It's actually amazing how much you can ignore the mobs once you get a good rhythm going.
- ...if you're in the last 30-60 seconds and you've got no hope for Master, you might as well pepper his butt with grenades to break Enrage. At least you can try to get the trial win reward.

Like you said, there may be a few other variables at work here, which is why it might be smarter to know for sure what those are and that they are working correctly first.
Again, I'm not trying to discourage anybody. Like I said before, I'll even join one if it was hosted.
