Thugs and IO Proc?

Simple questiuon,will the Gaussian's Chance for BU work for my Thug Enforcers when they are attacking or will it work for me actually casting the pets?

I'm thining it will only work when I cast the pets since the set if not designed for pets.

Has anyone tested or can confirm whether or not it works?

Since the enforcer runs a toggle with it in it should;

1) Have a chance to Proc on you when you cast the power

2) Have a chance to Proc once every 10 seconds per enforcer on that specific enforcer.

Whether either of these happen would require testing.

Ok, after transfering over to the Test server, I found that the Chance for Build Up only works on the activation of the Enforcers. It doesn't help the Enforcers at all.

Even if it did, you probably didn't notice it. I have the io in Tactics and I don't even remember seeing it, and if I did it's one of those occasions where you don't quite remember if it really happened or was just a dream.

Actully for the past 2 Issues, a buff Icon will display in your buff bar and you can also view the combat attributes window for the same thing. I sat there for an hour and never seen it trigger for the Enforcers.

After that, I sat there for another 20 minutes casting the Enforcers and finally it triggered on Me after casting the Enforcers, so yeah, my previous post is correct. It doesn't work for the Enforcers, only the caster.

Hey guys, you won't see it in your normal combat attributes window.

To see procs in pets at work, monitor:

"pet healing delivered"

Achilles, Lady Grey and Soulbound BU are confirmed.

Do you have a link to his thread showing his results? Because I just logged back onto the Test server and made sure I watched the "pet healing delivered" in my combat tab and sat there for 40 minutes and never seen the Gaussian's Chance for BU proc fire off.

Unless I'm the unluckiest person in the game, it never showed anything.

Ok, I finally seen the stats showing that the Chance for BU does work. It seems it doesn't work while attacking the Test Dummies in the Vanguard Base though. BUt when attacking actual mobs, it finally worked. Thanks for the heads up

Soulbound BU is WAY better than the Gaussians.
Gausians is basically a waste. 5% chance? naw.

Even Achilles is better. -res for more damage for ALL your pets.

This isn't on the boards anywhere, just from personal conversations with a friend that does a LOT of Masterminding.

Which Enforcer powers trigger the Achilles proc? Is it all of their attacks, or just some?

I'm pretty sure all "gun" attacks made by thugs has a -def effect.

You should bug that, it seems like that's not how it should be working and there were other procs that didn't work correctly that have been fixed over the years once the subject was brought up to the right people.

The procs won't show up in your personal combat attributes window, but at least the Soulbound BU proc will appear in the affected pet's combat attribute window. I confirmed this through my Soulbound Proc testing almost a year ago.

I can't speak for the other procs, however (though, clearly, Lady Grey and Achilles' Heel won't show up in the pet's combat attributes...)

Did you watch for the proc icon, or just look at their damage bonus to see if it suddenly changes?

Both, but after further testing, it works fine. After zoning the buff icon as well as the pet's attribute windows shows the Chance for BU proc fire off.

Curious, wouldn't you net more Endurance with a Performance shifter proc in stamina?

yeah, but I wouldn't soubound BU be better served in Bruiser? Between Lady grey %neg damage, achilles -res proc, and three nucleolus I think enforcers is pretty much set.

Most likely yes, but it's more of a preference I guess. The only thing I do is use debuffs which doesn't cost me too much, and a few taunts here and there, but that's it.
