Using AE tickets for Recipe Rolls

Can someone tell me what the best item to try to acquire with AE tickets would be? I'm thinking recipes....

I searched the forum and really couldn't come up with anything, but I have a decent amount of left over tickets, from before the AE nerf, and I'd like to try an get something like a Steadfast 3% or something of that nature.

It's been a long time since I tried but if I recall doing certain rolls gave better chances of success for recipes like that.

Anyone have a suggestion?

If I roll out a handful of 20 lvl 10-14 bronzes, I almost always get at least one Steadfast 3%. Your mileage may vary. No guarantees implied.

You'll also get lots of junk, some Karma +KB Protections and the occasional... erm... whatever the low level +Regen IO is called. Doctored Wounds? There's a ToHit Buff set in that range that's worth some money as well but, again, the name escapes me.

Regenerative Tissue: + Regeneration.

Personally, I roll 25-29 golds. I used to roll 35-39 golds because statistically I think it is the highest percentage to get a Miracle: +Rec, Numina: Regen/Recov, and Lotg7.5% recharge speed based on the amount of recipes in the pool. But, I had horrible luck rolling that range, personally. So, I am back to rolling 25-29s again, and got a Miracle: +recove, and Lotg 7.5% on consecutive rolls, so am happy again. Got a Basilisk's Gaze quad too the next day I use this option because on my farmer I generate tickets fast, and can turn them in every couple of runs through AE. Basically, 5 runs is enough to generate about 7000 tickets, or two of these rolls for me @ 3400/roll for the 25-29 Golds.

I've got no patience for rolling 1000 bronze's even if overall I could end up with more overall profit by doing so. It's just not worth it time-wise for me to sift through and delete a bunch of recipes for a few good ones. lol.

Thanks those are both great suggestions. I just wasn't sure of the range to take a roll in.

Too bad we can't get a Glad +3 out of it.

Every time I roll gold, I get a Snipe-y McSniperton: Chance to Suck IO for my 3500 tickets.

Apparently this is because other people are making up the curve

The only pools I roll are Bronze 10-14 (For the steadfast +def, regenerative tissues +Regeneration, and the occasional Basilisk Gaze or Rectified Reticle.) and Silver 10-14 or Silver 35-39. The 35-39 offers some nice lotg Def/End, Touch of Death, Kinetic Combat, and Numina recipes. However, the Silver 10-14 is my favorite because of the Achilles heal proc, Rectified Reticle proc, Basilisk Gaze Recipes, Eradications, and a bunch of other goodies. Overall, Silver 10-14 gives me a lot of things i slot in my characters, but there are also a lot of recipes than can easily net you 50-150mil crafted and the recipes that aren't stellar can still go for 5-20mil crafted.

This is good advice. I had a level 20 toon that I was planning on deleting, but noticed she had about 5000 AE tickets. I decided to try the 10-14 bronzes. At the end of it all, I had 4 level 20 steadfast protection: - kb's, 4 steadfast protection: res/def, 1 steadfast protection: res/end, 1 karma: -kb protection. Those were the big winners. Not bad for 5000 tickets.

I like the 35-39 pool. I get a steady supply of Reactive Armor, Smashing Haymaker, Thunderstrike, and Kinetic Combats, and there are plenty of other great sets I get a less steady supply of. So even when I don't get something great, I always have something good.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

bronze 35-39 is my go-to pool as well.

If I ticket cap a map and roll them all I'm pretty much guaranteed one or two GREAT recipes (20-50m crafted), a handful of 'good' ones (5-10m crafted) several 'okay' recipes that I delete as not worth my time (~1m or so) and a bunch of junk that also gets deleted.

But basically, if you roll enough tickets any bronze pool will make you a fat pile. Go with whatever feels right.
