Like I said in the other thread, I'm going to try to get my prestige total up to 100mil on the 21st. Neander Paul is, iirc, at around 67mil atm, so I'll need to find 16.5bil. Since I came up with that goal 2 weeks ago I've socked away 6 and some change, but it looks like I might need to dip into my 42 fire/traps cor's final build piggy bank to get to my goal, lol. Good thing I've already acquired his GA proc!

Alas, my marketeering efforts lately have ranged from feeble to non-existent,
due in large part to having several alts I'm trying to level along with running
my PvP toon, which got the benefits of a 5-7 Billion inf respec a few weeks ago,
on top of a few 50's running the Incarnate circuit.

Unfortunately, that's not leaving me much in the way of discretionary inf
that I can stoke the fires with atm...

I'll see if I can gather some for the 21st, but it's unlikely to be anything
impressive or overwhelming.

In a moment of "no, we're NOT making a signficant difference" pondering, I decided to figure out how to destroy a trillion inf, if the Devs were to dupe rares and sell them and destroy the proceeds.
If they sold one of every PVP IO and one of every PVP recipe at level 50 at current prices, that would be about 30 billion inf.

If they sold one of every purple recipe and one of every purple IO at current prices, that would be about 22 billion inf.

As a guess, if they sold one of every other thing on the market at its max level they'd get another 10 billion or so. [orange crafteds at 50 = about 2.5 billion. ]

So 62 billion, big sale on "one of everything." You have to do that sixteen times to get rid of a trillion inf.

There's by my unscientific guesses around a hundred trillion inf sitting around in the game.

There were at least 50,000 RM-to-AM conversions when Alignment Merits were new, maybe five times that, and the game swallowed that trillion-plus inf burn like it was nothing.

(Yes, we destroyed a couple hundred billion and so did PsychotiX. But we need more. So very much more.)

An interesting development: Wing Protectors of Light is back in the #1 spot. They now have just over 1 billion prestige, compared to Psychotix's 789 million. Looks like they take the prestige matter seriously.

*em boggle* wow. 1 billion prestige. Now I'm curious how Enyalios plans to proceed. Seems like a rather unrealistic goal to hit #1 by yourself now. Is there a gloating thread on freedom's server forum I wonder... off to check!

Yes I admit I was quite surprised when I checked the ranks. They actually burned between 150-160 billion in just a few hours. They must have gotten a wee bit upset at being passed for #1, and that we were starting to pull well away from them.

There does appear to be a prestige race going on. Psychotix is up to 915 million now, while WPL is a few thousand shy of 1.1 billion. What's the prestige total for the 88'ers now?
