19.5 Pre download?

have you tried deleting the checksum file.
that's a guess, but deleting that thing has solved so many things in the past.

I should try that when I get home... I'll make a backup copy of it just in case something odds happens, thanks for the advice.

Also look for one called majorpatch something, if that's there, try putting -mp as a flag on the start-up command in the shortcut. If that doesn't work, then delete it along with checksum.
Another thing to try is exiting the game the long way (countdown out) through all the exit menus rather than exiting shutting off the client.

I've never received the predownload, either. I'm not concerned, because I still use the updater to play. If 19.5 goes live before my client decides to predownload the majorpatch file, it'll just patch like a regular update.

Sounds like something was pushed to only one of the update servers and pulled. Wasn't this around the time the last patch got out a day early as well?

The patch to bring the current live version to Issue 19.5 on Test was only about 25 MB. It's just a patch. I don't know what that predownload that some people got with the last patch to live was, but it wasn't 19.5.

Ok so, a few days ago I know there was a pre-download of 100+ MBs that started once you closed the game.
The thing is, on the day that this was released I was dual-logging on and off throughout the day. So I kept having to open a second instance of the game repeatedly but not be able to let the downloader do its thing when I close the game since the main instance is still running. However, when I was done for the day and decided to call it a night the downloader never got on. I restarted the game several times and quit, still no downloader. I restarted my computer and then the game, still no download. And this has been like this since then. I can't get the download to happen.. Did I screw it up by canceling one too many times? Or did I miss something? I would really like to get this done BEFORE the Strike Pack is released so I won't have to download who knows how large of a patch on release day and take forever to download/apply.
Any advice would be appreciated.
