Praetoria's Trading House Needs More Bling! Or Art! Or Something...

Seriously I'm staring at long empty spaces of wall. Can we get an interior decorator in here to liven it up a little? What a yawn!

Copy the example of your fellow loyal citizen standing to the left, and spend your time in contemplation of the image of your Emperor.

Perhaps the blankness is intended to recall the empty-shelved stores of many a totalitarian regime. Maybe the underlying message is that since Emperor Cole already provides Praetorian citizens with all the essentials they need and then some, why should a trading house be a very active place?

I just frankly dislike having to WALK in that place. There isn't even a statue of our emperor to ogle while walking. :x

Actually, I prefer the Silly-Walk.

but the weird thing is, I could have sworn there was something there where the Screen Shot is looking. Do the displays rotate/use spawn rules?

They really should make that as an alternative walk animation that's unlocked by choosing to help the PPD thugs in the tutorial

IIRC the Clockwork display is just to the right of the picture.

I think the bigger question is: who brought the Rikti comp to the storeroom out back?

Walk doesn't get forcibly turned on.

But it might as well be, seeing that sprint and ninja run gets turned off. (It was worse pre-inherent-firness)

No. You still run pretty fast without those buffs.

Depends on your definition of "pretty fast" On a character who usually would take 0.5-1 seconds to travel that distance, 4 seconds is an eternity.. (Not to mention all the retoggling that needs to be done after you come back out, taking up even mroe seconds.)

For a guy named Signpost, you sure are preoccupied with speed!

There are at least five things wrong with that sentence. But I'm sure nothing I could say could convince you that patience is a virtue and that 4 seconds is still an incredibly short time.

Patience is a virtue to those who have the time to be patient. I avoid the Praetorian market like the plague simply because I don't want to feel like I'm running through pudding.

By the way champ, just because someone disagrees with your opinion doesn't mean they're wrong. Keep that one in mind.

if you do not have 6 secs to be patient, going by your over exageration of how long it takes to move in there. 3 secs more to go , and 3 secs more to leave.

Maybe something is off with your time management... o_o

Time is precious when you have one hour or less to play.

So precious that a few extra seconds completely alters everything you can do during that time?

Gotta love this generation. Everything needs to happen right this instant.

Pull the age card, that always works.

If I'm playing I don't want to waste time, I want to PLAY.

Once more, good sir, just if someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they walked up and pissed in your cornflakes. You shouldn't treat is as such (and you really ought to get off your pedestal).

TrueGentleman's post sums up the likely intention behind the design aesthetic. If you can wrap your mind around Praetoria's shtick, then you can see the point behind its austere trading house.

Sorry to interrupt the bickering personality conflict going on here. Carry on.
