Frostfire Needs a Super Suit!

Frostfire is, indeed, one of my favorite parts of the game and now you've saved me the trouble of being surprised with the parts of his storyline that I have yet to encounter. While you're at it, is there really a Santa Claus? And what was Rosebud?

yep there's loads of them, $10/hour, and it was his sled...
opps sorry, erm, here's an idea i've had for ages but never really had a situation to use it so never developed the costume more than different arms for different powers. Could work for our very bi-powered friend Frosty maybe? I stuck his head on it to make it so...

Not too sure about the boots and shoulders though... FF seems to be a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy and while his Hero suit should look different I don't picture him with any heavy armor weighing him down.
As for the spoiling I only just ran into the new FF content a week ago so thankfully this
didn't spoil anything for me but yeah you may want to put a spoiler alert Light.
@Sworn_Servant: Sorry it got spoiled for ya.
P.S. Santa Claus is fictional but based on a real person, it was his sled and if
you have a belief in the jewish zombie... well you may want to sit down first.
@Henri - Nice work, love the ice and fire arms, excellent idea! Is there any costume the Clockwork chest detail can't work with, definitely one of my favorite costume items yet.

Going off of Henri's idea a bit. And since we know the Devs will want to make him special....
Sorry for the super low-res. I'm on work comp and I almost over heated it just getting the pics of the costume pieces I used to photoshop him together.
I didn't want to go tech with him because that's not where he gets his powers. I felt he just needed an update as opposed to a full on "hero" costume. I personally wish we had acces to his boots in game but Resistance ones work too. I also think the fire arm should have a fire aura but on this comp there is NO WAY I could photoshop that. Also I think it's possible to reuse his current chest emblem, we just don't have access to it so I made my own with a combo of two ingame emblems.

I reckon make his pants the same colour as his top, and give him some hard man boots, combat or motorcycle or somet, and you've got the winning design there! Nice one
If there is one thing I'd change...
It's actuall the fact he's 40 something in his bio. Like, forty years old. That just...I dunno. It doesn't really sit right for me. Not with that character.

I agree, I don't think he'd be armored, but I don't think he'd stick with street clothes, either.
Well I even thought of taking Bioluminescense(yeah SP FTW) for his bare chest then splitting him down the middle - one side ice blue and one side lava red. His gloves would then be the ice and lava/fire as I've done here. This would give him a more evolved/mutated look. But again this comp doesn't even show the biolumenwhatever.
Between this, the Zodiac thread and a request for an image of one of my toons I'm going to be busy once I get home.... Plus someone gave me permission to play around with colors on some of their lines too... Well you know where to find me this weekend - in CS3...
I just did a "low tech" version of Frostfire's costume here.
I like it, but I don't think I like it for his final "heroic" costume. Maybe this could be his vigilante costume? I wish I had photoshop (and the skills to use it), but you'll have to imagine the ice and fire arms / auras going on here

@PowerSteam - Holy CRAP, that's awesome! I love it, exactly the kind of special powers look Frostfire would have, excellent work. I love the Biolum idea, that would be pretty epic.
Okay am I the only one that imagines Dennis Leary as FrostFire? So his age would be okay with me Techbot! :-P

I can't get enough of this software. It's a Photoshop clone, free at only £695 cheaper than PS, and there's so many tutorials on YouTube, you need never wonder how to dl a user manual again
Seriously, i couldn't use it a month ago, now with youtube tutorials i'm running around it. It's not photoshop, but it's close enough for free.hope this helps, cheers H.

Something a little more mature, with some aura fun
Alrighty, here's my take on it. I tried to keep it pretty casual, cause to me Frosty doesn't seem the type to go in for the capes and spandex.
Prettymuch just going for a more cleaned up version of how we always see him. I tried incorporating Red, because his old costume really doesn't give any clue to his having fire based powers as well as ice based ones. You can ignore the aura in this image, cause for that I had a different idea the next image shows a bit better.
Several people have mentioned him having ice on one hand and fire on the other, but I think it should be both on both hands:
This is him with the Omega aura colored like fire, while casting bitter freeze ray. I think it has an interesting look to it... Basically, have his hands covered with fire, but where fire would normally give off smoke have it give off frost. (Basically just his old aura, updated with the better looking graphics.)

I did the tip mish with Frosty last night and noticed something odd. Have they changed his powerset from fire/ice controller to a fire/ice blaster? I never saw any imps and I was definitely set to a diff level to account for them.

All my characters
I saw this thread a while back and made a heroic Frostfire... didn't like it. So, I put it on the shelf. Then I was thinking about hot and cold which led me to Yin and Yang. He should have his own emblem to convey his new heroic nature, the constant battle within himself of the good and bad, heroic and evil, the fire and ice... I put together a quick idea of what I'm thinking. I'm sure that at least one of you talented artists out there could take this idea and make it a little more dramatic and detailed.
Then I was more inspired to come up with something... eh, I don't hate:
SN0WJ0B: 50 ice/ice Blaster, InvulnerBull: 50 inv/ss Tanker, Death.Venom: 50 nec/poison MM

I think Frostfire's tale is one of the coolest in the game. As a lowbie he's one of the first "big baddies" you encounter, then later through your career, in tip missions, you'll watch Frostfire become a Vigilante and then even a hero you team up with in the end.
Throughout the levels and Frostfire's progression to hero, one thing bugs me, he keeps his original outfit the whole time. Now that Frostfire is a hero he needs to ditch the crummy Outcast uniform and get his own super suit!
I'd like us to get a few submissions and ideas for what Frostfire should like as a hero going. Once we have a few great suggestions I'll PM a dev or two about the thread and hopefully we can make something happen.
To kick things off, here is my submission for the Frostfire Super Suit Re-Design.

My ideas for some dev customization (ie: things we can't do), possibly an aura of swirling flames (similar to the aura you get when standing around demons) combined with the cryogenic aura. It would also be really cool if one hand had the fiery aura and the other hand had an icy aura.
