This is Virgo Maiden. She is an Illusion/Empath Controller. If the game offered long flowing skirts/dresses that is what she would be wearing...............
The closest thing to long flowing dresses in the game would be the outfit the women of Cimerora wear.

I haven't updated the AE arc. AE is a great way to get costumes that don't use weapons into a demofile so i can use them, but costumes that do use weapons are harder to work with when using the AE.

I've found that when it comes to weapon users it's easier for me to just load the costume onto one of my own characters and then do a demorecord.

I've also taken a tiny whiny break from this project since work has gotten a bit busier this month. I got some cool ideas for Sag and the Gem twins in the pipe though.

Once I wrap this project up, I wanna track down married couples in this game and do some duet shots.

Warden, what type of filter are you putting your screenshots through? I like the dark outline you have around them but some of them look as if they have a filter over the entire image not just an outline. I like removing my toons from their backgrounds when I can and your method works rather well.

Also more action shots! Those are fun! You know when you have time and stuff...

I'm going with Poster Edge.

If you have a recent version of photoshop it's under Filter --> Artistic --> Poster Edges.

Funny I was playing with that filter to no affect before, but sure enough that looks like it now. Odd.

Actually what I do is

1. cut my image out using the pen tool

2. coping that image

3. desaturate that new image and then copy it (crtl, shift U).

4. invert (ctrl I) the new image and set it's blend mode to Linear dodge.

5. using filters - stylize - find edges. This gives you some very basic black and white line definition.

6. I drag the original image to the very top and using the blend mode I'll chose which of Multiply, Darken or Color Dodge makes the best looking picture.

You can use Ctl L (image - adjustmetns - levels) to brighten the image in step 3 (before Destaturation) to brighten the image without flooding every pixel in the image with whiteness. I also use levels to brighten the image in step 6.

If I messed up with my pen tool in the first step and a lot of background from the original image is still in the image I cut out. I'll merge the desaturated image with the inverted image and apply a black stroke (inside, size of 1). Since all the color of my images are being delivered with the top layer that small stroke will hide most of the background that I didn't manage to cut out.

ChristopherRobin's suggestion gets a real similar look though, and it's faster.

I missed out on this thread. We have (had) a long-running sentai-zodiac SG on Virtue called the Celestial Teen Constellation Force.

The group was divided into the actual aspects, which largely had human hosts, as well as various tiers of servitors for the aspects.

I drew the straw for Aquarius, who took the form of Star Amphora (an amphora being a water jug). The SG is old enough that a lot of members have moved on from City of Heroes, so I won't be able to provide photos of most of them. History, characters, plots, everything. Good times. I need to get some photos of at least him up for y'all.

A lot of those folks also started a Tarot Deck SG later.
