I don't know if this is a bug going on right now or if it is limitations to the trial, but I am level 14 and am not gaining anymore experience and seemed to have lost all of my Information ($).

Any ideas?

Trials limit you to no higher than level 14. Also, there's an influence limit... 50,000 I think?

It is a limitation. You should be able to keep 50k worth of inf. though; but you will not be able to level your character past level 14.

Trial Account Limitations listed here

If you'd like to, before your trial expires, this is a good chance to see what the starting levels in Paragon City and the Rogue Isles are like, or try another character. If you decide to upgrade, you'll be able to continue levelling the characters you've already made.

ah, thanks... I must have hit the limit. Didn't see that before.

I may just buy it and get a free month, see if I want to keep going after that.

Also, if I buy the game, will I get all of the exp that I've been "saving up" since I hit 14?

You haven't saved up anything. Any XP or Inf earned over the cap is lost.

Just an FYI if you do decide to buy the game you should know that if you buy an older copy because it's cheaper you won't get access to anything that was added with the Going Rogue Edition and after.

Don't take this the wrong way because the old game is still great, but you'll have to buy Going Rogue to get access to the Praetorian content, and the Incarnate System.

The safest course of action might just be purchasing the Going Rogue Complete Edition from the NCSoft store.

If you have Steam, until the sales end (in 24 hours) all NCsoft games are 33% off; $26.79US for Going Rogue Complete edition, and $13.39US for the Architect Edition (You'd have a full account and a free month, but locked out of Praetoria and the incarnate system (lvl 50 content))

I just purchased the Going Rogue expansion from Steam which includes the rest of the content. It gave me a code and just used it to apply to my NCSoft account to upgrade from. Seems to have worked just fine. Though I wish I had known about the lvl 14 limitation during the trial. I went through a couple of missions before I realized my exp wasn't going up.

Thanks everyone!

Welcome to City of X!

Paragon Wiki is your friend.

Now that you are full-blown member you can join global chat channels, might I recommend that you poke your head into the Mentor Project here in the forums and say "Hi!" and join the "N P C" (New Player Council) channel in-game, type in chat /chan_join "N P C" (yes, the spaces and quotes are necessary.) There a plenty of helpful people there that are more than willing to answer your questions.

Enjoy!
