I was just checking the deadline and noticed that too, I was going based on the number 22 but if it's Friday the 21st
people will need to know ASAP especially considering the flurry of last minute entries that seem to happen with these.

Nice to see some last minute entries. I was considering entering myself due to the small number of entries. Here's my own last minute inspiration and/or submission. It may seem bad form for the organizer to enter their own contest, but then again, I don't judge anything, I just organize it. If anyone at all objects, this will just be inspiration for the other entrants... very bad inspiration, but inspiration nonetheless.
Submissions for this month are closed. If you missed out because of the date confusion, please post here anyway. Voting thread will be posted sometime on Sunday along with how the points system will work.

I have some questions/concerns.
Some things that should be addressed early on, three that I'll mention here, sent you a PM Bubba with some others.
1. Voting for the same person all 3 times. While Bubba hasn't officially stated if this is possible or not under his rules it defeats the purpose of having a multi-vote.
When I first came up with the three point system last year it was as a solution to hugely lopsided vote that happened the first month because people could only vote for one person (Lousy Day won by a landslide while at the other end I think there were several people tied with 0 votes).
The idea of switching to a 3 vote system was to spread the points out more and let people who were torn between several entries pick all their favorites.
2. How much is an individual vote worth? It's already a different system from last year so is it 1pt for each and whoever gets the most mentions then gets 10pts at the end? Or is it still 3points for 1st place, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd and most accumulated points total (and not most mentions) earns you 10 at the end.
3. A ten point must system works fine when you have less than 10 participants, we have 9 currently but since there are no eliminations until June and a late berth into the contest is coming up in April what happens if we end up with say 15 artists in May?
1st place = 10pts
2nd= 9
3rd= 8
4th= 7
5th= 6
6th= 5
7th= 4
8th= 3
9th= 2
10th= 1
11th= ???
12th= ???
13th= ???
14th= ???
15th= ???
If a couple of the same people come in last in both May and June who gets eliminated? Will we switch to a 15point (or however many artists there are) must scoring system where the lowest earner can get no less than 1pt? Will that throw off the intended scoring as the months progress making certain months more valuable than others? It can work that way but I'd like to know in advance if possible.

Finally I (and I would think those who missed the start date) would like more info about how the late berths will work. Doesn't need to be right away but preferably before April rolls around.
Also I agree with the part Caemgen mentioned in the vote thread about points being given starting after an official decree... awarding points retroactively is not a good precedent.
1. Tartyr's vote does not count unless he changes his vote to 2 other people
2. Points for votes are same as last year, 3 vote points for first place, 2 vote points for second place, and 1 vote point for third place. These points will then be converted to FArt points based on ranking.
3. In the case of more than 10 participants, those ranked below 10th place would get 0 additional points.
I haven't fully fleshed out exactly how the points system will work, I think it is best to let a couple months worth of points go by to see how they start adding up before I set anything into stone. These are what I do know right now:
Points will come into play starting in June.
June will be the first month with an elimination.
Points will NOT be directly related to elimination.

I'd think the fair thing is pick your three favorites or pass and no one gets your points.
FYI If I understand it correctly, it's actually 3, 2 and 1 points respectively for vote points not 10, 9 and 8. Those larger FArt points (along with the 10 for participating and any bonus points) are awarded at the end of the month to the person with the highest total of 321 vote points.

Set everything in stone at the outset and adhere to it for the duration.
Only make changes/exceptions in extreme or unusual situations.
Less room for error and/or a last minute plan backfiring.
P.S. One further question has immunity in any form been decided on?

Ok, just to put some more information about points that I have figured out so far:
You will be able to "buy" immunity with your points.
You can use your points to "save" yourself from elimination, but it will cost twice as many points as buying immunity.
I plan to have a full list of uses and prices by April. So there will be some extra strategy involved in this year's FArt battle.
Reminder: Less than a week to enter. I know we typically get a lot of last minute entries, just be sure not to miss out!
