Assault Bot burn missile still broke?

Back when Burn was changed the MM version was broken. Apparently they used the same summoned entity. This resulted in a huge nerf to the power for MMs. Has this been corrected?

It did?

The plastic tips at the end of shoelaces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister.

If you're good at clustering large numbers of enemies before the Assault Bot opens fire, the change to the burn patches works out to (IIRC) about a 20% reduction in damage output.

Sorry about the lack of responses to this. I've never heard of this, and don't know anything about it, but I'm interested in seeing what the consensus is.

It seems like the current manifestation of the Dev team is all about full steam ahead. I hope they don't forget about this.

Castle had already stated the problem in the past, the burn patch is using the new burn patch pet (which is a much weaker burn patch) for the missile patch, which is why it doesn't cause fear and has much less damage.

Lets hope it gets fixed soonish.

That would explain why my Bot/FF guy is feeling so much weaker with my starting to play again. I run around with force bubble and corner mobs, I guess burn is the slow down.

My experience is that it does less damage if you are used to immobilizing a spawn in a tight clump, but far more damage otherwise. This is because the Fear effect that used to cause scatter has been removed and there is a significant initial splash damage.

It's probably a buff for the majority of players, and a significant nerf for those of us on the forums that were used to clumping and immobilizing. I wouldn't hold my breath for it to be addressed...

Depends on whether or not Castle's list of things to update got passed to someone before he left or not.

I hope it gets fixed, but I hope more that the lobotomised pet AI for 'ranged' pets gets fixed first.

Ya tell me about it, tired of trying to save, then having to re-summon suicidal robots. Wonder what the DPS loss for that is?

The pet bug is the only major problem I'm having. GM Soloing on both my Ill/Rad and Bot/Traps MM is just annoying.
