200%+ global rech dom Here with good slotting in hold and confuse.
I cant perma confuse or perma hold any of the avs in tin mage strikeforce.
Battle maiden works in apex but not any of the av´s in tin mage.

Will future incarnate content reduce the effectiveness of control

No, I don't think so. I grouped with an elec/stone dom in both mish. I think that hard control might not be as effective, but this person had 1sec rech sthold, and was very effective at damage control with that and their other mixed bag of tricks. They went nerve alpha, for the additional hold duration, and I have to say, it made an obvious difference. Most surprising, the AOE sleep was VERY effective at damage mitigation. Though the mobs may not have been slept long, it was long enough for the damage in the team to wipe them out with some safety,

I've got a 190% recharge dom and... I don't think it's a very big deal that there are a few situations where one doesn't absolutely, totally, utterly, embarrassingly decimate an opponent or group of opponents... or zone full of opponents.

I was kinda worried about that, but it still felt like my Dom held her own on Apex. I could perma-hold a few War Walkers at once, and Domination-charged Stalagmites was still quite effective against hordes of +4 enemies.

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

Depends on what you mean by "reduce". I assume the Devs are looking to prevent the sort of thing where one permadom can sleep the 9 AVs at once. But I also think that they want control to be a factor in play, so they aren't going to make it useless.

Look at some of the current challenges, Defense isn't a guaranteed winner in all fights all by itself now, but it is still extremely valuable. If the Devs handle control similarly (note I didn't say "the same" I said similarly), then we'll have more challenges and still have a fun time.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

Doesn't fighting +4 reduce the effectiveness of everything?

Only debuffs, defense, controls, things that cause damage, or things that have to hit...

Huh, guess that's everything.
