LoTG +7.5 Global Recharge Question

Hypothetically speaking, would slotting Luck of the Gambler +7.5 Global Recharge in the following slots be effective?

Flight/Hover
Tactics/Maneuvers
Concealment/Stealth & Invisibility

Or would Enhancement Diversification (ED) take into affect and not really give me 30% global recharge?

ED does not effect the LotG Global Recharge. The only limitation to it is that you can't slot more than one in a power, or five in your build overall.

The recharge from Luck of the Gambler is global so it is not counted as a enhancement to any power for ED purposes. So yes you can put them in any power that accepts them and get the benefit. There is however a limit of 5 or 6 of them, after that the game stops counting them (same as set bonus limit, you can only have 5 or 6 of same set bonus before it stops counting them regardless of the set the bonus comes from). However the Luck of the Gambler is not considered a set bonus either so you can have 5-6 set bonus global recharges and an additional 5-6 Luck of the Gamblers.

Also pay attention to the level of the Luck of the Gambler 7.5%. As a global enhancement it will only work if you are three levels lower then it or higher. Under three levels you loose it (e.g. a level 50 7.5% will only work when you are 47 and up).

Awesome! Yeah, I plan on slotting 1 of them in each of the powers described earlier. What I didn’t know is that you can only slot 5 or 6 max, but no worries as I can’t think of slotting them anywhere else in my build so 30% should be fine.

Thanks everyone for the clarification.

The limit is 5, hence the player-coined term "The Rule of Five".

I've done this on a couple of defenders. ^_^ Hover, Maneuvers, Grant Invisibility, Invisibility. Works great.

Incorrect.

It is exactly that - a set bonus. The "Rule of Five", however, cares about the NAME of the set bonus. And every global IO (Self-buffing IOs with no durations/always active are ALL globals, so KB protection, etc) has a uniquely named set bonus so they don't interfere with regular set bonuses.

Even globals that give the "same" bonus have a differently named set bonus, so in theory you could stack each of the different -KB globals for a total 60 KB protection.

Although that would require slotting a total of 15 IOs, 5 each counting as Defense, Resistance, and Universal Travel.

Try not to use the "Wrong." reply unless the person you're correcting is actually wrong, okay? It'll help us all out.

There. Changed.

And although his general info was right, but that bit I quoted ("It's not a set bonus") is wrong

I have 3 of the 7.5s on my toon, and yet her rez power says 2 min 32 secs, I clocked it, and it actually takes 2 min 45 secs, WTH!?!?! and AFTER i saw that I put on the 2 of my current 3 7.5s LOTG, and it didn't change the recharge speed of the power AT ALL, it still says 2.32 but takes 2.45 to recharge.... I am utterly annoyed... can anyone help explain this?

Wow! Necro!

Anyway - nowhere does the game showyou recharge of a poewr with glboal bonuses figured in.

And the only other thing I can think of is if you are currently exempalred, you might be blowe the level of the gambler IOs giving the recharge bonus.
