Roy Cooling's Arc (spoilers)
What I really like about the new arcs is that they bring other contacts into the story. Talking to other contacts I've previously worked with in the middle of a story arc and getting help from them is a great touch.

Thanks to @EnsonsDeath for the GVE code that made me VIP again!
This arc was fun.
I just have no idea what was going on with the mediporters to begin with that caused a ruckus. Curse you Ouroboros.
I didn't even know this arc existed. I somehow glossed right over it.

I actually liked the new Villain arc a little more.
Spoilers below:
The last mission is actually a bit tedious, but the Souvenir very cleverly saved the story, in my opinion. I liked the idea of being the end-of-the-TF AV for a group of heroes to fight.

i mean with all that stuff about Wyvern, that totally seemed like foreshadowing for Manticore to show up, or Longbow signalling the coming of someone from the Vindicators.

I thought the final mission of the villain arc was ridiculously tedious, but then when I was suddenly attacked by a Task force team and realised that I was in fact now the NPC AV, everything was awesome once again
The final battle of the Hero arc was marred by the fact that I was trying to hurry up so I could retry the Non One Left Behind badge. I would have enjoyed it much more if that wasn't the case. Even so, when the Zeus arrived I laughed, then I said "eep" when I realised it was an EB and my level 29 psychic attacks were doing about 5 damage to it
Stoopid robots. Is it me or did the Castello guy jump into the robot as if it was a mecha, like in Avatar/District 9/Matrix/etc? I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a totally different enemy or the same guy.
The Widow's Dark Hand - leader of Faux Pas
Champion Server
Tee Hee!

I think the bot showed up at the end to save the Hostage, 'cause he was a Malta guy and in trouble. It says something to that effect when it first appears.
I also wanted to add that I really like how the devs gave personalities to the SWAT Officers that accompany you in one of the missions. I loved feeling like I was fighting alongside characters rather than robots.
And if the villain one is better, I can't wait to play it.

He looks kinda scruffy and sleazy in reality

I'm curious, for those that have run this arc, were you able to successfully complete the 'fire drill' mission?
The Abrams is one of the most effective war machines on the planet. - R. Lee Ermy.
Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?
A: You crash into another one.
Okay, I wasn't going to say anything because ranting really isn't my thing but... this particular story arc gets on my nerves for a one big reason...
Ahem... Spoilers ahead (sort of) so stop reading if you haven't played it yet...
Freak-A-Lympics Arc: 2 Scheduled Bosses (boss level only/separate missions) + Last Mission Clear Final Room + mostly minion/lt enemies throughout + 8 mission arc = 34 REWARD MERITS
Roy Cooling's Arc: 2 Elite Bosses (Back to back/same mission) + Last Mission multi-tiered stacked objectives + mix of minion/lt/boss enemies throughout + 7 mission arc = 5 REWARD MERITS
You have GOT to be freaking kidding me! Roy's arc was at least twice as hard as the Freak's arc and it only scored a smidge more than 1/7th the merits?! I'm of the mind that difficulty and time spent should be the determining factor for reward merits awarded but it seems that FIVE is the magic number the Devs give to anything new that hasn't been play-tested or data-mined yet...
Okay... I'm glad I got that off my chest... now back to your regularly scheduled Steelclaw...
My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw

And I agree, after mowing down wave after wave after wave of Legacy Chain, to have a Task Force show up was just the height of awesome. I was running Profiteer, my Mercs/TA Mastermind, and I just couldn't help but shout (in-game and out), "ALL RIGHT, HEROES, BRING IT!"

With the Incarnate stuff consuming plenty of attention I almost forgot about the new lowbie arcs. Just played through Roy's (the Medi-porter one) solo for the first time, it was a truly fantastic arc! Nance/Dean set the standard with their arcs, and Roy's was even better than theirs! It was fun fighting Costillo again, he was a riot with his antics! And I nearly soiled myself in the last mission when the Zeus Titan came in and started wrecking me! Bravo, devs.
I'm glad the devs are continuing to put in quality low level content even with the "elder game" in the works.
