Fun, active SG?

Any fun, active SGs around that are looking for more? I'll be in SG Mode all the time and particularly enjoy speed TFs. I am a 63 Month Vet. on my EU account and am on GMT so regular teaming might be an issue.

Welcome to Champion. I do believe we've met already. Enjoy your stay.

Welcome to Champion Tux! There are some big SG's that openly recruit all the time, but another way of meeting people is to join some of the server global channels. Pretty much everyone on Champion is a member of one or both of the following Champion server channels:

BMT of Champion--for badges, monsters & task forces. Moderated and there is always an operator online who can send an invite. Good way to get in on teams and tf's/sf's and stuff.

Champion United--casual channel for chat, teams and farms. More loosely moderated. Always an operator online who can send an invite. Good for casual chat.

Both are a great way to meet people.

Cya in game.

Unless the mods have changed it recently.. CU is an OPEN channel, no mod needed. The 'inactive settings' have not been set and thusly a mod can not invite you due to 'channel being full' .. just keep trying to rejoin, eventually you will get in.

O yeah /wave, welcome to Champion.. read it!: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=202607

Speedy SF/TF's / Soloing obscene things.. similar likes as you

CriticalKat mentioned in a previous thread that she set the inactive settings a few times but with zero results. Like you said, keep tryin'.

Welcome to Champion, you'll find out the server itself is more like a huge sg in itself with lots of folks with there own personal sg's. For the most part with TF's, SF's and teams can be found in the channels stated above. There's always something going on, (check our events calender).

This.

I would advise you to team with different groups/people before looking to join an SG to get a feel for what is out there. There are several great SGs, but there are also many people who may be a part of small or solo SGs. Both types of players are worth getting to know.

If you are making good use of global chat channels on Champion, you'll find that there's rarely a shortage of players that will run something with you, including speed TFs if that is your preference. Also checking out our event calendar is a good way to keep track of the server events that are hosted, which is another great way to meet new people.

Hope you enjoy yourself.

(Edit: SteelDominator beat me to it. )

Also...
Don't be discouraged if you ask to join a sg and the leader says "No". Don't give up, talk to some other members see if they can help. Be persistent!

I keep weird hours so feel free to look me up for teamage.
