I imagine you've edited your post fast enough and it's late enough at night (and what the heck am I doing up at 2:30AM??) not to worry about your account. Even if an unsavory type saw it they'd still have to get your password. I haven't personally known anyone to get their account hacked but it does happen on occasion. There's no point walking around with a wad of cash hanging out of your pocket after all so don't make it easy for the ill-intentioned.

Yeah haha I think I'll be safe too. Thanks a lot for the money you sent that is really gonna help me. I'm buying a bunch of SO's right now . Its only like 12:40 am here :P. I don't have to worry about attack ones too much since I only have 3 useful attack powers since i am a mastermind and those are my 3 levels of minions. I did send you a global friend invite, and hopefully we can game together since I havent had too much "Multiplayer" in "MMORPG"

The best part of the game is finding a group of friends and playing together. Having a bunch of friends is a large part of what keeps me playing after almost 6 years now.
Egads, what am I doing still up??? I've gotta work tomorrow.

The game actually encourages you to play more than one character. If your first character is a mastermind, try playing a scrapper or blaster, or a controller. I highly recommend trying out all the different ATs, maybe you'll end up really enjoying something you didn't think you'd like.

All salvage must be found or goten from the market, I highly recomend never just deleting salvage its inf you could use latter on going to wast.
The game will however open a pop up window if that salvage you are trying to sell/delete is used in a recipe you have.

But...
It appears that you just jumped in and started playing. There's nothing wrong with that (I do it all the time in new games too), but you've missed out on a LOT of information.
I would recommend that you make a new character (and also use the opportunity to try out a different type of character than you've been playing) and go through the tutorial area.
(you don't have to delete or abandon your main character either - there's plenty of character slots to use).
In Praetoria, be sure and select the conversation options that say you're new to the game.
With a Hero or Villain just select that yes you want to go to the tutorial.
While in the tutorial, READ EVERYTHING. There's a ton of the basic information, such as slots and enhancements and stuff, that you seem to have missed.
At level 10+, you can go to the University and take the Inventions IO tutorial which will also explain more about inventions and the market.

Also, I don't know if it was mentioned, but while you can reduce the recharge time of Hasten itself with enhancements, you can't increase the recharge rate it provides.

Welcome to the game, Redempti0n. There are plenty of fine people on Justice. I'm usually on there after 10pm PST, if you are on at that time send me a tell @Angel Red.
I highly recommend poking you head into the Mentor Project (link in sig) and joining the 'N P C' channel. Just type /chan_join "N P C" (include quotes and spaces) and introduce yourself. Mentors will happily answer questions or if available, join you for a bit to show you some tips and tricks on combat, marketeering, crafting, enhancing, etc.
As others have already mentioned, there is a tonne of stuff to do in this game on your way to 50, take your time and enjoy it. I think it was 9 months before I got my first 50, for my Bro I think it was something like 2 1/2 years (but he's a huge altiholic.) And there's nothing wrong with being an altiholic, the Devs encourage it, considering that you get 12 free character slots... PER SERVER!
And name me one other game where the Devs give you the option to actually turn off XP, because the players actually wanted it!
I've been playing for three years and still log in pretty much every night. Though the community and the friends I have made here have a lot to do with that.
Once again, Welcome.
Good point about the tutorial. It's got a lot of good information. I've met 'vet' players that don't even know some of that stuff.

It's a long thread and I didn't read everything, but I didn't see this mentioned..
At the beginning of the thread, the OP kept mentioning the recharge time of their powers is still the same. I want to emphasize that even with enhancements on Hasten, that's not going to change. Adding recharge enhancements to Hasten will only make the Hasten power recharge quicker so that you can have an increased overall recharge bonus more often.. but that bonus is always going to be the same rate.
Welcome to the game and always remember to have fun.
This cannot be emphasized enough. Also as a new player, please don't get seduced by the AE until after you've checked the rest of the game out. Sure the AE is a useful tool but if that's all you do you'll be missing out on 95% of the game. We've seen a lot of new players get bored of the AE and quit without ever realizing everything else the game has to offer.
