AE Removal?

um guy.......apparently you weren't around in the very first few weeks of AE. the exploits were bad enough for there to have been accounts banned. 1-50 in about 2 hours. and the infamous original "ambush" farm consisted of little custom ritki monkeys that ambushed (999 monkeys) while you stood in an aoe buffer. and you seriously think the sad excuses for AE farms compares to that? wow..... maybe you should stop raging over AE and find a more calming hobby in the game bud.

Nothing that I can tell, but it is kind of reassuring to see that the "we can play any way we want, no matter how bad it is for the game" trolls were wrong. Yet again. For the umpteenth time.

The sad thing, though, about this little nostalgic romp is knowing that next time something like this comes up, the same old tired arguments will be made again, people insisting on the devs either being okay with (or ought to being okay with) game exploits, people who will never learn that taking advantage of such things is so detrimental to the game.

What was the point of this?

It would be several months before I even noticed.

Why would they get rid of it?

I admit, there's a mission I farm in AE, but then, I had a mission I farmed in PvE to (admittedly not fast, but I'm using a DB/WP Scrapper )

And I havent heard tons and tons of AE Farm team messages when in AP (or other AE accessible zones) when I go through them. Have I seen them? Yes. But not that often at all, less than I see any other "looking for members" or "looking for team" messages.

Of course, all the people who insist that farming is okay seem to be right. It's EXPLOITING that's a problem.

Who's to say he actually missed anything? For myself, after a dozen or so 50s before AE existed, I can say that there isn't much left to be missed. I'd gladly pay fifteen bucks just to skip all the same stuff I've done hundreds of times already.
