Help meh!!

Ok, so like- I am having issues with my wonderful computer-- apparently I got some spyware somewhere on here, that keeps sending out emails to people. I have run 5 different malware programs, and not one is picking it up... so i am asking the smartest people I know.... YOU GUYS, for help... here's the hijack this! Log, anyone tell me anything??? Not much of a software techie myself but what antivirus / spyware removal programs have you tried? Have you tried kaspersky yet? They have a free month full version trial available of it and so far I would have to say its the best anti-virus / internet security software that I've encountered. I'd recommend downloading and trying it and if you like it, buy a 1, 2 or 3 year subscription plan to it.

I tried it on both of my home computers and eventually bought a 3 year subscription to it. It seems to find alot of stuff other antivirus / spyware software wont find.

Download Malwarebytes and run it. If it doesn't find anything, you have a problem that only a tech experience in rootkit removal will be able to solve.

Since you didn't list the 5 different programs you tried, have you treid Spybot - Search & Destroy? It's pretty good at getting the nasty-wastys...

Sophos' anti rootkit tool helped me get rid of a nasty rootkit infection on my boyfriend's computer.

You say you've had emails sent out... have you confirmed they're coming from your computer rather than someone having access to, say, your hotmail username and password?

Combofix is one of those programs where you can really eff up your computer if you use it wrong.

That, and the apparent lack of experience the original poster has in searching out problems with virii is why I recommended that, if Malwarebytes doesn't catch it, she should take her computer to someone who knows what they're doing when it comes to cleaning out virus infections.

Malwares is the ONLY program that picked up anything. I thought that too- that maybe someone was spoofing my IP

So I went thru and changed all my passwords to something impossible to remember. GOOD LUCK NOW HACKERS! LOL
