Checking out the VV, I may join with Seraph since I do tend to look for mythology, folklores, and Horror Fairytale as inspiration for plots and what not. Though I'm no fae fan, I may have actually RPed a little with Kenna but it was brief or I was too tired. >_<

Ahhh then I'll wait for it in the event you do make a sub channel then

We definitely are looking for female players - even people who play female toons.
Male roleplayer who's considering rolling a female pagan god character answering in with as series of questions.

1. Are you basing the metaphysics of the fey on mythology as presented in the Dresden Files, and will you be making alterations and retconning things as the new books come out? I'm a fan of the series, but it sometimes takes me a while to purchase and read each new book.

2. How active are the channel-members required to be, and will they be removed from the channel if they do not meet certain activity level requirements? I have an awful lot of other alts that I like to play as, so something involving a significant time investment isn't for me.

3. What sort of stories and plotlines can we be expected to undergo, have already occurred, or are ongoing?

4. Are you requesting female-roleplayers, female characters, or both?

Doesn't wossname Dresden actually play this game with Dresden Dresden as his main?

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

I've teamed with him on about six different occasions with my 50 Ill/Kin Troller. He plays, you guessed it, Harry Dresden, a Grav/FF/Fire Mastery Controller. He's an absolute joy to team with, and is on my global friends list.

My guides:Dark Melee/Dark Armor/Soul Mastery, Illusion Control/Kinetics/Primal Forces Mastery, Electric Armor

Gravity? Huh. I wouldn't have called that.

... Then again, Propel does fit the manic spirit of dresdenverse combat.

That's pretty awesome! Hope I run into him one day.

As to the OP, I'm always excited to hear about such groups - I've read all the books and am a big fan of WoD/Changeling, etc. My newest character, Nightshade, is a Leanan Sidhe - similarities to THE Lea in the books.

My namesake on the forums is also an Unseelie creature - Goblin Queen.

I also have an Olympian - Hecate.

I'll try looking you guys up.

I'm curious about this:

Quote:
We generally avoid extensive plot lines play with demons, angels, Lovecraft inspired higher gods, some sci-fi characters. and any others characters which might interfere with general cohesiveness.
They (not the Sci-Fi so much) are used rather well in Dresden and World of Darkness in the overall cosmology of both settings and seeing them all interact was something I enjoyed in both. I see you say "generally" so I'm sure there are some exceptions. I was curious as to why you've taken this stance. I have limited amounts of those types of characters and though I'm not trying to get them involved I am just genuinely curious. The Sci-fi characters I can see why you'd take that stance, even tho I suppose Mage used them well enough - but I digress. hehe.

I would have hated to be the Customer Service person on that one.....and now I *have* to go read the Dresden Files...this channel is sounding interesting...

I do also have a toon-Kami Megami, who thought she was being funny when she gave herself that codename...as it turns out, she's a kami of technology....

Global is @Mellissandria
I don't have that much art, but I do write stories and I do collect art on

I thought the same thing, but he (like myself) rolled up and hit 50 way before custom power colors. At that time, Grav was very visually thematic for Harry and it made sense. Now I'm sure he could remake Harry to any powerset he felt like and color it all up.

I play Mab Queen of Winter on Virtue and yes, Jim Butcher does play at times as Harry Dresden.

I saw his name late one night and sent him a tell, "Mortal do you need a favor from the Fae?"

I joined him for several missions and had great fun with his Dresden - I would be definately up for this please send a tell to @iron - I play most nights after 8pm EST.

I indulge in the odd bit of mythological foibles, and I /adore/ the Dresden Files.

(Also, I'm so jealous. I'd kill to party with Jim Butcher, man! It was finding out that he played on Virtue that made me come over here from Justice!)

Ice/Ice Blaster. Dedication to concept is an ugly thing.
Claws/WP Brute. Sex without the angst.
Every CoX character lies somewhere on this spectrum.

I enjoy the Dresden Files series. Good luck with your endeavors!

Never read or heard of The Dresden Files to be honest but whoa surprised kind of as I sort of play Seraph a similar kind of guy. Grant it he's not so much of a wizard but he too conducts his "business" in the same way buy keeping it private. Course I used Hellboy's BPRD as a template where as Seraph worked mostly alone. So I would look forward to bumping into players of the SG and channel staff in the event a secondary channel was made providing that very opportunity
