Duck Faced Creations - My Art, WIP's and Doodles
Awwww thank you Khal and Lady A I'm glad you liked the sketch I was a little worried there for a while /phew!.
I'm working on thanksgiving themed pieces this week surprise surprise, who knew pie could be so racy?!
Smaller images for the forums, if possible?
That said, lookin' good =]
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Since you're on Deviant Art, you can just show the display images from there and they will already be in a nice forum-friendly size. Then include the link to dA and they can click download to see the original size.
Nice stuff by the way, been keeping an eye on it.
Lady, in Elements, after you have the image scanned in and are ready to export it goto:
File---> Save for Web (or you can hit the shortcut Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S)
From the window that opens you will see either at the right side or the bottom
(depending on what version of elements you have) two editable fields called "Height" and "Width"
and also there will be either a little picture of an chain link or a check box (again depending on your version) called "Constrain Properties"
Make sure this box is checked and then set the largest of the two numbers to 1024 and hit the "Apply" button.
Then hit "OK" (Sidenote: the option is called Save for Web and Devices in newer versions).
Then choose where to save your pic etc etc the usual. The average monitor these days is 19" or larger so this should accommodate
most everyone and still be plenty big for viewing on the forums. Let me know if you have any further difficulties.
P.S. I touched on the standardized size thing a while back in that large post earlier in your thread if you ever made it through that monstrosity.

Thanks and have a great turkey day tomorrow everyone!
Well I didn't give step by step instructions in the earlier post (didn't know what program you were using) I just mentioned it would come up eventually and that it is better to make a decision about about stuff like that sooner than later (so you make more work for yourself when you end up redoing it later). I tried to touch on a lot of the stuff you will run into with a thread of this kind as a heads up.
P.S. It doesn't take long to resize them, just a few seconds each... I do it automatically now and don't even think about it. Redoing all those links on the other hand might be a little time consuming. Smartest thing to do is leave the file names exactly the same either in a separate folder or change the large file names so the smaller 1024 files keep the current names. Not sure how Tinypic works but Photobucket (which I use) lets you swap out a file and keep all links that point to it intact.
Hi everyone,
As promised here is Week 9 for you, during week 9 I decided to do a thanksgiving theme. I will be coloring my November Art Jam entry and lining more of my prior pieces. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did drawing them.
Cheers!

Hi everyone,
I have been asking around on the forum for holiday volunteers to help fulfill my goal of doing a series of holiday pieces all through out the month of December.. I also am considering entering one of these pieces into the billboard contest but I'm not sure.. Enjoy!

Partially NSFW - Check out Stephie Girl with a modification on her candy cane outfit on my DA page
Kai's character Jae opening her Christmas present
Key to the City
Caemgens character Fenian entitled "Get Lucky"
Some nice new additions there K.
@Neko: You speak as though you needed another reason?
@Caemgen: People seem to love the idea of Fenian in heels heh.
I always try to put the girls in heels for the same reason why I wear heels myself, heels just make your legs look great!
Thanks CR, I have been trying to lay off on the shading so I can line my pieces easier. My hubby has been helping me with the lining process and coloring a few pieces and leaving me to do the finer detail work, so hopefully I'll post those up soon Nothing brings a husband and wife together like coloring ^^

So you draw and then Eat does the inking and color flats then you go in and finish up with detailing?
So you guys are like an amateur Boris Vallejo/Julie Bell.
Okay now I'm jealous.
Why resist it?
Nurse, i have a boo-boo down there... kiss it better? |
