WTF Purples?

By positions I mean my bid-asks and such. If people knew for example (real data from an old spreadsheet circa i14):
The 5% you're worried about already know the "positions" you're talking about, or at least have a pretty good idea about them. There aren't -that- many combinations to cover in this game. I really wouldn't worry about ANYTHING leaked in the forums about it. *shrugs*

That I put out 5x10 bids for Titanium Coating Res/End @100034-100038
5 x 10 on all the salvage used at 1038 for all
And listed at all times 5 @ at 3000001, 5 @ 3100001, 5 @ 3333331, 10 @ 3500001, 10 @ 4000001, 5 @ 4500001, 5 @ 5000001, 5 @ 5500001 and a high-ball stack of 10 listed on Justice for 10000001.
Also I kept 30 support bids out on these at 500038 to prevent a collapse below crafting costs.
If they knew all that, they'd be able to use that significantly to their advantage. Thats what I mean by positions. And no people don't know what my positions are...even if they do know the likely niches.

Noooo we have a types of post post already.
Seems spot on.
The forum breaks down into, 1 Posts for the purpose of Conspicuously consuming 2 Posts chiding people for not being sufficiently industrious in a video game or for not enjoying this part of the game. 3 Posts that are offers to buy or sell 4 Guides to making inf, that read like guides to making atomic weapons that fail to mention what the fissile materials are, or the need to maintain critical mass 5. Guides to making inf, that read like guides to making atomic weapons based on waiting for proton decay. 6. Genuinely informative guides. << everything else Edit: I forgot 7, the how dare you suggest changes to the system that might make it into something I am not good at posts. |

Nine Categories of Market Posts
While far too small to be it's own guide, I thought I'd throw these in this thread for folks who may have forgotten them. I believe they were originally from peterpeter (if it was someone else, I apologize). I've reproduced them here (from a sticky on my cubicle wall) with some minor edits - Enjoy! Code:
1. Hey guys! Here's an interesting thing. 2. Yes. That is interesting. My thoughts on it are... 3. Would someone like to buy/sell/trade this item? 4. Could someone please help me earn more inf? 5. Here are some ways to earn more inf. 6. You're all a bunch of doo-doo heads who make everything more expensive than God (or Devs) intended. 7. You are an idiot. 8. Merge the Markets - Yes or No? 9. Dude! I'm so Rich/Ebil! -|- Dude! You totally are! |
Btw guys and gals -- don't click on Beefcake's picture link. I briefly had malware on my system today and its the most likely cause. Thank god for having IT employee who works for me.

Get real, my picture is hosted on Comcast and is not malware, so before you go accusing make sure you know what you're talking about.

Your pic isn't malware, but I picked malware up same day as and I didn't click on anything else new or unusual. Its not your fault if Comcast has malware on their system...not accusing you, just a word of warning since it was the most likely cause. You should consider checking your own system I suppose too....it never hurts.

Well you and your IT guy are wrong, this is my ftp server, and it doesn't contain malware, sorry. And my system is scanned on a daily basis, again sorry, not from me or my ftp server.

My IT guy didn't say it came from you. Though I guess I could ask him to see if he can tell. Its useful having someone much more knowledgable about this stuff than I am working for me sometimes. I'm not accusing you of anything Beefcake, I just posted a warning because I didn't want anyone else getting malware who doesn't have personal IT support. If its not because of your pic I appologize....I'm not intending to defame you in any way.

Well, read your first post regarding this isue, you did accuse me. I don't take that too lightly, specially when I own that ftp server through comcast, its my personal server and I know what's on it. It gets scanned and backed up daily.

Sounds like you need to quit downloading furry porn. We all know that is the leading cause of malware.

My language was imprecise. I didn't intend to accuse you. I also didn't know you owned the ftp server...most people posting here use 3rd party picture sites to post pics which are notorious for malware infections. I didn't intend to accuse you so I'm sorry if it came off that way. That said, you're flippantly arrogant which doesn't engender confidence in what you say. You come off like a teenager who is so unsure he's right that he blusters to cover his anxieties. And the whole thing got started as you said....because you were in a weird mood and decided to troll on the forums.

Much as I would like to avoid this thread entirely, I do feel compelled to chime in and say that I checked out the link, do not appear to have picked up any malware, confirmed by scans from two different packages. Just to allay fears from any others who might have clicked on it.

Furry is a term that can cover several different interests. In the context it refers to people who like artwork (not automatically pornographic) depicting anthropomorphic animals. And I suggest we leave it there lest the thread get locked .

Same here, I've clicked on Beef's link several times over the last couple of days, and haven't had any issues whatsoever.

Fair enough. I think I have a pretty good idea what that would be then. Sounds like something virtuites in pocket D might enjoy.
step one: find a spare smoke detector in the house. usually there's one or 2 hanging on a wall, or perhaps the ceiling in a hallway. the claw end of a claw hammer is especially effective.
what you really want is the americium tucked away inside.
.....stay tuned for part 2. for the moment i'm feeling a bit nauseous and my gums hurt. cya soon!
