NCSoft, Add Costume Codes to the Store

I just got the PPD Hardsuit while Trick or Treating. Hovering around with those jets firing while blasting away is just too cool to lose in a couple of weeks when the Halloween event is over.

The costume code contests were a great way to get some codes out to the players, alas I was always at work when the codes were released. I don't have the spare money to make it to a convention to get the codes they typically give out.

My proposal is simple, NCSoft, add costume codes to the store. Sell them for $4.99. Yes, that seems steep, but right now I'd have to either travel to a convention (and still not get the specific code I want) or pay extortionist prices for the codes on eBay. $4.99 is a steal compared to those options.

NCSoft, you're missing out on my sweet, sweet American dollars. Sell at least some of the more popular codes on the store and watch the money roll in.

One would think NCsoft could probably make a good deal of money if they sold these things directly instead of letting people generate an eBay market for them. But for whatever reason they still want to keep these things "exclusive" to events, conventions and contest prizes.

It's definitely bad business. And I'm not advocating that NCSoft stop using them for events, conventions and contests, just give those of us who don't have access to those avenues a better way to get them.

Heck, sell some of the lesser liked ones and watch the money come in. Or better yet, sell Booster Packs that contain NPC exclusive pieces that are found in these costume temp powers.

I really can get behind this idea. I have a handful of characters that are either based on or inspired by in game villain groups and now I know there's a Rikti costume code too, I'm positively drooling at the thoughts of making a simarly themed character. So, in case I'm not clear, this is a big YES from me.

Yes, if there was a way to get a Paragon Protector costume, I have one guy who'd run wth that on 24/7

I totally /sign this!!
I'm from Brazil, and there is NO WAY for me to acquire a Costume Code.Actually,if I depend on the company NC Soft allowed to own the rights to COH,I wouldn't even be able to play GR!
Come on Marketing, some ppl want to spend money on COX stuff, don't you want us to buy your stuff?

Absolutely, I would want this! Hell I want Halloween costumes to last longer than the event. Give them a 2-3 hour game time life rather than going away with the event. . .

Indeed. Two nights ago, I'm floating on Dragonstar's wings above a big spawn of zombies in Talos Island, setting them all aflame when I see a Psi-Scout join the bottom of the team listing. Feeling confused, I spin around to see a gorram Rikti charging into the fray. Had I have not been busy incinerating the undead, I would have wrestled him to the ground and demanded he tell me his secret...

So yes. I am willing to part with my hard earned cash for costume codes. Anytime NCSoft want to take the money from my hands, they only have to ask. Here's hoping that someone from marketing is listening...
