Stargate Universe S02E04

Well I guess a thread isn't really needed much these days seeing as it has been 2 days since the episode aired. Not a real ground breaking episode but it does bring forth a subplot that will go on for a while longer.

So there are only a handful of episodes left before the mid season break that starts in December. Starting this week, episodes will not be put online until 30 days after they originally air meaning you either have to catch it live, record it on a DVR, or some other method.

NBC seems to be screwing around with the online showing of all of it's TV series which is really annoying since I share a TV with someone who has different tastes than I do, don't have a DVR, and so often have to catch shows online. Starting this week I had to watch Chuck on nbc.com instead of Hulu. Someone also recommended that I check out Chase, which is on at the same time as Castle, and again I had to watch it on nbc.com instead of Hulu. Finally I discover that I can't watch Stargate Universe online at all unless I want to turn to torrents which I won't do. Which probably means they've lost me as a viewer because I don't care about the show enough to remember to tune in 30 days from now.

Wait really? 30 days? Good lord.

Well I do know of a forum that posts links to flash versions of the shows if any one wants it. I have used the place to watch Doctor Who for a couple seasons now as they would get the episodes online in only a few hours at a decent quality.

Hopefully, they keep Chloe the way she is or merge the alien and human personalities together to make her more interesting. Just keep on making Chloe act more and more alien and SGU will have their token alien without bringing an actual alien on board. Forgive the Voyager reference, but the Lucian Alliance seems more like the Maquis while an alien Chloe would be more like Seven of Nine.

Don't know about you but Chuck, Chase and SGU shows up on Hulu fine (well they do hold SGU for a week but The CW also holds their shows up for a week).

You better hurry up if you want to catch the Chase 1st episode, expires in 4 days.

My bad. I wonder why?

Let's blame Comcast.

I will be annoyed if this spills over to USA shows like Burn Notice.

To add to the hulu thing, they have stopped airing the show at other times like before a new episode. I know they have had the show air after midnight on another shows main night but I can't seem to find anything about it in the schedule. Good thing on the other hand though is that Sanctuary isn't fully abandoned as it got it's second airing on Friday nights back after last week ditched it in favor of replays of The Event.

Getting back to the episode.

Rush is really swinging back to evil with what he did to Chloe. I can honestly believe that after being stranded on a planet, kidnapped by aliens and had an implant cut out of him by Chloe that he's a little hesitant in sharing his discovery with Young or anyone else on the science team.

You guys are assuming that that thing is really Chloe. The real Chloe could still be a prisoner aboard the alien ship, and what's on Destiny is some sort of replicant/clone/doppleganger. The aliens have the ability to hijack the stones so they may also be able to swap consciences with the real Chloe and their alien spy on the Destiny.
