Here's a qoute from Shadowrush.com:

The Green Lantern trailer will debut before Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1 in theaters this November, reports ComingSoon and The Green Lantern Corp. fansite. DC writer and Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns gave the announcement during the New York Comic-Con, currently happening this weekend. Johns also added that “If you guys like the comics now, you’ll probably like the film”.

This is just a heads-up to anyone looking forward to seeing the trailer. So if you’re planning to see Harry Potter during the first few days of its opening this November 19th, you’ll be one of the first to get a glimpse at the Green Lantern film.

Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard. The film is directed by Martin Campbell, and hits theaters on June 17, 2011.
Here's the link to the article.

I can't wait for the Green Lantern movie. Since I'll be watching the Harry Potter movie this November anyway, this is great news. Looking forward to seeing the trailer.

Begone, knave!

You can't have Green Lantern without the oath.

Might as well tell Batman to leave the utility belt at home while you're at it.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

I like this version I found on the Green Lantern Wikipedia Page.

Quote:
Duck Dodgers temporarily becomes a Green Lantern after accidentally picking up Hal Jordan's laundry. In the first part of the episode, he forgets the real quote and makes up his own version:

In blackest day or brightest night
Watermelon, cantaloupe, yadda yadda
Erm... superstitious and cowardly lot
With liberty and justice for all!

So you are new to Hollywood using 20-30 year old actors to play teenagers?

The producers actually thought of this. After the third movie, they looked into the possibility of recasting for age. But after researching and polling their audience, they learned that the majority of viewers wanted them to keep the same actors as long as possible.

Seeing as how they made the movies fast enough to keep the actors within 1-2 years of their characters ages, I really never saw the problem.

I mean it's not a 30 year old playing an 18 year old (though some 30 yearolds can pull that off), it's a 20-21 yearold playing an 17-18 year old. It's really not that big of a deal.

Now...if they put more time in between the making of the movies, I could see this possibly being an issue.
