How will the Incarnate system work for the "Undesirables?"

Tanstaafl was not, as far as I can read his/her mind, claiming that there is no-one teaming on your server. The contention was that people refusing to team with Stalkers (or some other AT) is a problem that is likely only found on some servers. And ultimately, if you can't get invitations to a team and it's really bugging you, start one. Look through the LFT window and grab some people who are up for a mission or whatever. If no-one wants to join the Stalker-led ITF, start something else and make a few friends. Tip teams are quite popular at the moment, and could often carry at least one team member quite easily, so even if they're thinking "lolstalker", they'll still run the mission... and then be thoroughly impressed by how much damage you put out and the ways you can manipulate aggro, at which point they might think about running that ITF.

In conclusion, it seems likely that archetype discrimination is a problem found far more on some servers than others. And regardless of this, there are definitely things you can do about it.
Whomever doesn't want a stalker on any AV/EB filled mission needs their heads examined. I have seen what a pair of stalkers in an ITF can do against Romulus, and it's HIDEOUS! Easiest ITF I've ever run.

The only TFs which should care about team composition is one which is very low level with a bunch of low level toons... or you're doing a hyper-speed run or trying to do a mo- (and even on the speed runs or mo... there are ideal builds but really it doesn't matter that much if your team knows what it's doing)

When i am TF building a team I'm more interested in how skilled a player is, not what AT they're playing.

I think its safe to say any STF demanding a "stone tanker" is pretty much screwed. Because all you need to know from seeing that is the team was built by a moron.

as a sidenote, in my experience players of Kelds have more to do with Kelds being unwelcome on some teams. Few players of kelds can actually play one... a well played Keld is welcome on my teams... a poorly played one on the other hands is about as unwelcome as an emp with no single target heals, clarity and fort... in short a poorly played ANYTHING is worthless.

Never? What server do you play on, I gotta take note for the next free transfer week.
They're not saying they've never seen that. They're saying the people doing that are idiots.

I gotta make pain. I gotta make things right. I gotta stop what's comin'. 'Least I gotta try.

that's my first concern with the new tf's and the Alpha slot as my main char is a WS and sometimes some people don't feel like teaming with a WS (trying to avoid the cysts)

Idiots. Cysts are the main reason to team with Khelds (well, apart from the fact that they're damn good to have along anyway...). More enemies means more fun

Tell them you have a higher damage modifier than a Blaster in Nova form. (1.2 vs the Blaster 1.125)

I generally avoid any team where the leader is looking for a specific powerset. Heck, most of the time I avoid teams where the leader is looking for a specific character type (although that does depend on the content, it can be useful to get extra support toons for the harder stuff).

Funny, I did kill her one a very melee-heavy team.

It did require me to run around scrapper-taunting her to keep her focused on me while the tohers wailed on her, but it worked

Now, Recluse without someone capable of tanking him was... more problematic.
