Haven't played with my level 34 gravity/ff controller in a long time. I noticed that I have detention field (its been that long lol) When I use it on a foe, how long does it last?

30 seconds, I believe. With enough recharge, you can have it ready as soon as it wears off.

3 accuracy and 3 recharge along with hasten and some recharge sets should keep something that's bothering you out of the way for a while.

Here is a hint:

Right-click on the power in your tray and click "info". Switch to the tab marked "detailed info" and there it will tell you everything about the power, even how long it lasts and how much damage it does for the time it takes to activate and recharge called "damage per cast cycle".

That's better than getting any "I think it's..." answer here.

No, they resist the magnitude if they are high enough level above the caster. The effect either works for the full duration, or fails completely if the enemy is too high of a level.

The only thing that works this way that I can really think of is KB, as Magnitude is the duration, effectively.

I *think* some intangibility powers are flagged so that "strength" equals magnitude and/or duration. Black Hole's "strength" is both.

But besides Intangibility and KB, all other mezzes' "strength" is flagged as duration.
