Eagles Claw - Not enough time to crit

Scrappers Eagle Claw: Eagles Claw now increases the Critical Chance of Martial Arts attacks by 33% for 2 seconds after it has been activated.
It just doesn't feel like enough time to get off another attack, I feel most times I don't even get the benefit of the extra crit bonus.

Heres how it goes, I use Eagles Claw, I guess the Icon that shows is telling me that the crit bonus is active, it seems to go off a little after the power is activated leaving like half a second to use your next attack and sometimes even if the power is queued doesn't seem to go off in time. Maybe the time should be increased to like 4 or 5 seconds, at least put it in test but I don't think that would be game breaking, if anything it would give you more time to at least get off an attack and feel comfortable that you are getting the bonus.

Does anyone feel the same or differently?

Eagles claw ---> Dragons tail

My solution. :P

On topic, seams like plenty of time for me.

Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.

I normally roll right into Storm Kick after Eagles Claw, mainly because it has a very fast activation time that runs very fluent with EC, and it already has it's own increased chance to crit, so stacked with the increased chance to crit from EC, it's almost garaunteed double damage, which actually makes it more powerful than any other attack if they "don't" crit. I just basically like my chances with Storm Kick better, feels to fire off a critical almost every time after EC. The only other attack I might use instead would be Cobra Strike, since it's also a pretty fast attack plus it's stun will stack with EC's to dizzy bosses.

Yeah, you pretty much have to have your next attack already cued to catch it, but's it's fair IMO, as that high of a chance to crit is pretty nice. I use it with Dragon's Tail and often see a wide circle of 'CRITICAL' text rise. I also use it with Storm Kick since I *think* it stacks with a power's inherent crit chance and Storm Kick has 5% more of a chance. Not sure, Storm Kick just seems to crit a lot when preceded by Eagle's Claw.

Definitely a great idea on the devs' part, and a nice, welcome change to MA, imo.

Oh yeah, Eagle's Claw followed by Dragon's Tail - I'm seeing lots of crits.

You can't wait until Eagle's Claw animation is finished. You need to have your next attacked queued before the Backflip starts (not sure about the baseball throw animation). Just press your next attack immediately after tapping EC and you should be fine

the problem is if you have to move at all you're not getting the crit, which is dumb imo. Though it doesn't really affect me since my single target attack chain is storm->crippling->storm->cobra. I only use Eagles Claw for my aoe chain.
