Argh! Damn interface!
I feel your pain. I once accidentally bought 4 luck charms for 120 million apiece before I could cancel the bid.
I think that's a great idea, but you are right, it will probably never happen.
Just the other day I typo'd away 160 million on some rare salvage. Someone here offered the advice, "Type fast, click slow"
Depends how you did it.
There is a known bug which when you're trying to put an enhancement on sale actually puts a stack of salvage up for the price you tried to list the enhancement. I've fallen foul of this 3 times and had the fees refunded twice by support (I didn't ask the first time, assumed my mistake).
It seems to take effect when you get the "large listing fee" dialog box and click yes on the "do you really want to do this" option. If you click the options to say that you don't want to see the dialog box again, and that you don't want to go through with the transaction, then just list it again, I've never seen this problem manifest itself.
It's true. This game is NOT rocket surgery. - BillZBubba

That's exactly what happened.
I'm not actually going to pester for a refund (I ain't rich, but I ain't broke, either), but I will remember this in the future...
The other day I bought a LotG+ for a very nice price. I planned to put another bid on the recipe, but instead of bidding, I offered my recipe for sale (for the same price I just bought it). It sold immediately, and luckily I made over 90 mil in profit since there were outstanding aggressive bids, but I WANTED it.
Yeah yeah, I know, boohoo, I made 90 million when I didnt want to.
Yeah, I was gonna ask if this was due to a mistype, or an interface glitch. Seems the latter; I wonder if we should necro the "we hate the new interface" thread? Seems the devs have stopped working on fixing any of our old complaints, even the fairly universal ones like stop prompting the user fee warning on every toon (and possibly every time we zone).

We could start a new "We hate the new interface" thread!
I still hate it. I've learned some strange workarounds, like NEVER turning off the "Are you sure?" button. I think I've been trained like one of Skinner's pigeons to do things in a peculiar order to avoid losing money, but it's still broken and wrong.
(I believe they've changed SOME of the "autofill" functionality, and one or two other things, so improvements are possible.)
... one thing they broke recently was that for sale/bidding lists one way in the bottom window, and "find" gives you the same info upside down. So changes are being made. Wasn't someone running a unified buglist?

So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
Just think of how much extra Defulmenstration you did because of those pricing errors :-p

Count me in the "Still Hate It" category as well...
So far, I've been lucky to not get burned badly by the @^#$@%# thing,
but it always looms on the horizon.

I've been rich, and I've been poor. Rich is definitely better.
Light is faster than sound - that's why some people look smart until they speak.
For every seller who leaves the market dirty stinkin' rich,
there's a buyer who leaves the market dirty stinkin' IOed. - Obitus.
The interface put 7 x Steel on sale for 140 million for me, thus blowing my profit margins on my enhancements I was actually trying to sell.
There's nothing anyone can do, and I understand that. I just wanted to share my misery.
Edit - Although there should be a "cancel within 10/20/30 seconds, get your posting fee back" option. That'd be awesome. Never happen, though.
