Claws/Fire Scrapper or Brute!?

Can't decide, so I'm starting a poll! First one to get 10 votes, or whoever has the most votes when the thread dies, wins.

Scrapper - Consistent damage all the time. Crits.

Brute - Better damage at it's peak. More HP so it gets more mileage out of HF, better survivability.

Brute benefits more from the new fiery embrace, I believe.

Scrapper benefits more from followup.

Brute gets more benefit from healing flames.

Scrapper wins out on blazing aura. (edit: wait, I don't think BA crits for scrappers, therefore brutes win here as well)

Brute burn is affected by fury, scrapper burn not affected by crits. (I assume.)

Winner? Signs point to unknown. (But I'll vote for the brute since my edit.)

Decision breaker: What's more fun for you, fury or crits?

Be well, people of CoH.

Fury or crits? Hmm, good question. Crits are something I don't have to think about. They just do their thing and that's it. Fury is helping me once I get rolling, and with the new fitness inherent coming, it'll really help me steamroll my way past level 20.

Right now I'm thinking Brute. I do plan on farming probably, so the more survivability I can get, the better.

I would go with the Brute since the Scrapper doesn't have a taunt aura. Spin has a small radius so the taunt helps a lot.

Scrapper and here's why!

Look at those Claw animations! Do they seem brutish to you? Nooo. Some might not even think they look scrapperish enough. But they all agree, they don't look like "OMG! If this game was rated MA, I might actually throw up at the brutal carnage I just unleashed on that Dark Ring Mistress!"

When you picture a brute with claws, you picture limbs laying halfway across the room, as the insides get dragged along by the brute because they're just so full of fury they haven't bothered to wipe them off!

Which by the way, is just unsanitary to the next victim, who may just get some sort of STD from the last victim. Is that fair to them? The last thing they get before the crime scene clean-up crew comes in to clean up the little pieces of them that's left on the floor and cieling, is something that's could easily leave them with a social stigma for what would of been the rest of their lives.

But...I digress.

Go Scrapper, untill alternate animations come in for some really brutal looking animations for claws.

Ripping people to shreds and then bathing in their blood isn't brutish? Only attack that doesn't really look brutish to me is Eviscerate, and I skip that anyways.

Because there's no taunt in Scrapper Blazing Aura, mobs will run away from you.

Brute all the way.

Brute. More HP is the deciding factor since Fury got changed, the damage output isn't hard to maintain.

Also, teams = Brutegasm. Higher damage cap means more potential.

Well done.
I have a 50 in every AT, but Scrappers and Dominators are my favorites.

Except that isn't right anymore.

If I am not too late I would vote for Brute too, which is annoying since I hate brutes, but equally a scrapper with no taunt aura isn't good
