So I just got back from Resident Evil Afterlife 3D

I thought it was ok. It felt a bit like filler, but it wasn't too bad.

What confused me was having Alice lose all her powers but in the fight with Ax Guy, she gets smacked pretty good and flies into the wall. A normal person should have been pretty close to dead after a hit like that, so I don't know if this means that her abilities are coming back or that she's just a Willpower tanker...

I was a bit surprised that she didn't have a topless scene. Seems like she usually does.

I thought the blonde at the end looked familar, but I just couldn't place her. Maybe it was the blonde hair throwing me off.

Glad to hear another one will be made. I love the series.

As for Alice losing her powers, I recall her being tough and kick-assie in the first one, before getting infected with the virus. My guess is she just lost the telekinesis and a huge bit of her healing.

While that may be true, if she hadn't lost her powers the executioner wouldn't have just shrugged off her kick like it was nothing. She also probably wouldn't have had to resort to using explosives on the roof.

While I enjoyed the movie, I have to admit the 3d was lackluster. I was not surprised there though. I noticed Milla was moving rather slowly, though I blame a recent child for that.

Overall, a good movie that will be great for the collection.

Unlike my god daughter I did not laugh when the plane left the smear of blood. Instead I thought, "How can a plane continue flying after hitting that many people?"

I did notice that the Redfields seemed to be the focus of the film. Odd that.

He seems to be more upset that it was in 3D. They do have 2D showings he could of gone to.

That said, yes, just as well to see it in 2D.

He also gets the last bit wrong, though I could understand why, I didn't recognize the actress (its the same one) from #2. I'll blame it on the hair color though.

He might not have had the option. There was only one theater here that had it in 2D. The rest of them only had 3D showings.

And the hair style as well.

That was Sienna Guillory? Wow, I didn't recognize her either.

Actually in looking through Google Images, she can change her look radically. She's every length, color, and style.

Phelous and Cinema Snob both thought it was terrible too. Though Cinema Snob at least sounded like he got a good laugh out of it.

Oddly enough Distressed Watcher is the only reviewer I've seen say they liked it.

When I watched the film, me and the one I went with were "She looks familiar? Who is she?"

Couldn't place her at all. Thought she might have been someone we saw earlier, but didn't catch.

Only once I got here, and someone emailed me who it was, did I realize why.

I went to IMDB.com to find out it was the same actress.

Different hair color and like Black Arachnia said, different hair style. That made the end even better imo.

I only realized who it was because the short bit of the credits they played before they showed her listed the actress as playing Jill, and I was wondering "When did SHE show up?"

Then the bonus clip appeared and I was "Ahah!"
