Does /accuracy work in things that don't take it?

While it's not relevant in this case, as there's nothing in PGT that has a conventional to hit roll that could be enhanced by the accuracy, if it did have, then it would be. Indeed, multi-aspect IOs/HOs are often used to get round slotting restrictions - for example, Widow's Mind Link cannot be slotted with recharge enhancements, but it can be slotted with, say, Def/Rech set IOs, and it does benefit from the recharge portion.
On the subject of Traps and Acc, I still wonder whether slotting Acc into Acid Mortar even does anything. In my 2 years of playing City of Villains, I have never seen Acid Mortar miss or be dodged, even when attacking enemies with defense-based godmodes (Elude, Retsu) active.

It does miss. I've seen it wiff 3 or 4 times in a row Vs +4s. Thing is once it does hit it will continue to hit because of the defense debuff.
In general, powers that *can* be affected by an attribute (ie. accuracy)
will be affected by it even if you can't directly slot that specific
enhancement into the power.
For example, you cannot slot recharge into Mind Link (Widow VEAT), but
you can slot defense. If you slot a Kismet Def/Rch into Mind Link, the
recharge portion of the IO does indeed improve recharge time.
However, if the power doesn't actually use the attribute, then it won't
have any effect at all.
So, for instance, Stamina doesn't use Accuracy. You can slot a Performance
Shifter (EMod/Acc) into the power, but the accuracy component has no effect.
So, the real question is whether the power you mentioned *uses* the
accuracy attribute at all.

For every seller who leaves the market dirty stinkin' rich,

I have a /traps MM. Poison Gas Trap does not take accuracy enhancements -- you simply can't slot them in it.
If I have a hold/acc enhancement, and I put it in PGT, is the accuracy doing anything?
