Female avatars
My She-Hulk ispired Brute would be happy just to have a texture similar to the male Bare Chest Muscular. Even if it was just the bikini top with an added texture of muscles.
However, as for changing the actual model themselves? That's a lot of work recoding things so all the costume pieces fit. I doubt that will ever become a priority.

That way they can slap the original female versions on there and just re-size as needed. It looks to me (and if I'm wrong then I'll gladly drop this point) that the huge versions of the male costume pieces are often just stretched to make them larger anyway so it shouldn't be too epicly difficult to do... and in the long run it would make a number of people very happy I think.
Character Customization can only go uphill from here, #1 in the industry in my eyes.
Probably the most wallbanging part about female models/textures and lacking any sign of muscles is that there are quite a few gloves that used the muscular male forearm textures regardless of gender.
Now this would be nice for making strong women, but it fails even at that by the simple fact that the upper arms/the rest of the body do not look at muscular, and it is just the male textures wrapped around the comparatively smaller female arms, making them look squished, distorted and disfigured. It's terrible.

Sam Tow provided some screenshots of a bug that allowed for the muscled body on females, or possibly photoshoped it in... Either way, however, it was enough to spark interest from David Nakayama (Aka Noble Savage, the lead art Dev) so...you may be able to hold your breath on that one. It might yet happen
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

*chin rub* Ah! Villain! You must be toying with my sense of hope in order to dash it... *clench fist and shake ominously* I see your ploys... I SEE THEM.....
In all seriousness though, I would like to see what you are talking about for curiosity sake.
Any link to that? And what do you mean by enough to spark interest?

David, the lead art Dev who started the threads to get feedback, replied along the lines of "Previously we though it'd look horrible and hadn't considered it at all but, given what you guys have just shown me, theres actually quite a good case for looking into it properly. Watch this space." /paraphrase
So, yeah. It may well be in the works.

Blargh, can't be bothered to dig in the 'All Things Art' threads...Its in one of them (and they are long) but basically a bunch of other people suggested muscle parts for females, even providing screenshots of either bugs that allowed for it or photoshopped in muscles.

Until then!
Awesome news. Thanks TBA.
As for building a female Huge model, that would require a whole load more modelling and then having to go through every costume part in game to make sure it fit, reworking it so that it did and making sure it didn't clip with other parts. In all, a massive amount of work.
So as much as I'd love to see it, I reckon it's unlikely.

The reason I suggested a completely different option of female huge is because not everyone will want their females to be bigger like that and vice versa, and the ones who do will feel as if an entirely new set of options was created for them (and it will have been). I don't think adding the textures as costume options would really do it justice as that would eliminate the possibility of sliders and normal customization, but even if they were originally added in as simple costume options it would make me happy.
Anybody else have thoughts or ideas on the matter?
It would be way too much development to introduce a 4th body type. You're better to ask them to add more muscle options to females or make huge include both genders.
A game is not supposed to be some kind of... place where people enjoy themselves!
I like this as well but mostly for the "Walk" power. I think the easiest way to do that would be to just enable both walk animations for both sexes, seems simple enough to me.

Not sure how I feel about that...

Huge female would require too much work.
A female muscle slider to get something similar to the female Paragon protector or the Icon Tailor female muscled mannequin would work great.
Female avatars are too plain, we need some muscles and abs.
And better rounded chest, like Mother Mayhem have
I have wanted a "huge" female form for a long time and even quired about it and it has been brought up many many times and heck I would like to even see like the female body builder you showed as far as size or like a bod like Ms. Corey Everson (some might know here as the character atlantica from the herculese series)

I would love to see the engine get upgrade and if it has been upgraded, then how is COH/COV going to compete with thE *WHISPERING The other Superhero MMO (which I think They are total ripping off from City of Heroes and I won't say there name) that's coming out soon*WHISPERING I was watching a lot of the interviews and I believe they been on this forum listening to what we have to say and requested for this game its so funny they are adding it in there's game. So many powers in the comic world that could be inputed in this game, but that pesky old engine just can't handle it or a lawsuit want let us hhalol.
go on youtube and listen to the features and powers they are adding into their game I swear I HEARD it mention on here first before I saw that E3 interview I think if the gaming engine had a major boost this game would run so much smoother.
This is my only hangup with COH its been out since 2004 and the engine seems to still be lacking the power to do new things, that would give this game more of a superhero experience. I see so many new ideas get turned down, because the engine is not strong enough. Its so sad it takes to much work to do. I believe city of heroes/villains should have had a engine upgrade instead of a graphical upgrade. It's nice to get better looking game and I love going Rogue an all, but you don't paint over a wrecked car until you get The dents out.

If you're talking about Champions Online I hate to be the one to inform you that it was released a year ago (and aside from better graphics it is mostly a ripoff on City of Heroes( but it is an utter failure of a game in my opinion aside from a few things here and there that should be added to City of Heroes)
I think he speaks of DCU online
to the Devs give muscly women forms or I will send Ms everson to beat you up :P
well, things to expect/not expect. the muscle sliders adding more musculature is unlikely, that would add more polygons and could lead to performance hits, so we wont be seeing ms. everson's defined shoulders in this game in all likelihood unless something drastic changes. furthermore, much like reptillian and bioluminescent, if there is a new skin texture, it will likely be limited in what it works with, so dont get your hopes up for mixing a muscular hearts plus character. that said i, as i was in the art thread, think its entirely genre appropriate to have more muscular women, and am looking forward to what comes of sam's legwork. If nothing else, dave seemed enthused, but dave seems enthused a lot, he's an energetic guy, dave is

I could, come to think of it, actually see this done by simply doubling up on options by including, say, Sports, Sports Muscular, Hacker, Hacker Muscular and so on. It wouldn't require any more texture work than what I described above, but it could bloat the dropdown.
However, I would agree that it's unreasonable to expect things like Hearts Plus, Angellic Plus, Excess Plus, Leather, Metal or the Bridal Lace to have a muscular texture associated with them. In fact, we shouldn't expect the Tanktop to have a muscular texture to it. The only things we can hope for, at least with any chance of occurring, are muscular skins with with the "clothes" which double up as patterns. Things like Athletic, Angelic, Tee, Tanker, Holes, Savage, etc. Nevertheless, that should be enough.
Things I WOULDN'T expect are new models or tweaks the the muscle sliders. David basically put his foot down on both, and they won't be happening. To be fair, a muscular texture can make a lot of slider configurations work, and I happen to know that for a fact.
Something else I'd like to see eventually is the ability to use alternate arms, using the Robotic Arms mechanic, but for monstrous and alternate human arms. You can already see this in action on Foreshadow in the Hollows, and in fact even on player characters with the majority of jacket short sleeves. They do, in fact, come with their own unique upper arms that just happen to match the regular arms. But once upon a time, they actually gave the male upper arm texture to females. It's been fixed since then, but it proves a point: Women can be given unique and different arms independent of their upper body, which means it MAY be possible to give them more muscular but still very much human arms.

I have a very simple request.
It may not be simple to code, I don't know. It's probably very time consuming but worth it in my opinion.
Can we give females muscles please? I'm tired of females all looking as if they're freshly made from a barbie factory no matter how you change the sliders.
Males have the regular male option... and the huge option. Females get...... the female option.
Now, I'm not asking for Helga the body builder or anything like this
(http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lZdvPYOtIU...male_f_ezr.jpg)
But just something to show that they are physically strong and built well. A 6 pack, arm and leg muscle tone, anything.
I know you'd have to recode or resize costume options probably just a little bit but I think it's time the females got some equal recognition in the muscle department. After 6 years of slicing people in the face with a broadsword and taking massive hits with a shield.... something's got to give. Please I beg of you.
